My grandma has been ordering cakes from Champagne’s Bakery for many years. For her 80th, I returned the favor and ordered her favorite, Italian Cream Cake, from Mr. and Mrs. Champagne. WOW! I forgot how absolutely amazing the cakes are. Lovely and talented owners. I will definitely order a cake whenever I visit Nederland. Any time with family is a celebration. Champagne’s Bakery in Nederland is the Best Bakery around here! The Anniversary Cake I ordered was the Best Bakery Cake I’ve ever eaten. They went out of their way to make this cake special for us and make us feel special. The 30 minute drive from Orange to Nederland is well worth it. We’ve found two new friends as well.

I went to champagnes bakery wanting to get a simple birthday cake.I walked in and from the start that wasn’t a good impression, cobwebs everywhere and musty old people smell.From the start that makes me think if they don’t clean the bakery than how sanitary is there cooking equipment ect. After a while someone finally came out and waited on me, rudely it seemed like he didn’t want to take part in my cake and said I have to go to the craft store myself because he didn’t have the right equipment to make a simple bow.Then I asked how much for a simple 9 by 13 NOT PRETTY chocolate cake he replied $35 OUTRAGEOUS!!! I STRONGLY recommend that you do not go to this bakery, PRICEY AND RUDE!
