Salsa was good… chips stale, presentation of plates messy, food had a lot to be desired. Ordered margaritas, they were canned margaritas of all things at a Mexican restaurant, at least should have stated that. Would I recommend, not compared to most Mexican restaurants. I say skip it. But on good note the waitress was nothing but nice.

Food was great. Their food had a great spice level and portions were fair. Service was enough to get our food and drink but didn’t check back and fill cups/clear plates. They also nickle and dime for refills and sauces but the prices of the meals themselves are very fair, and they explain any extra charges on the menu.

3 of 4 meals were really good. Wife felt the Navajo taco was too doughy. I disagree, but she has her own opinion.

Best Authentic Mexican Food in Globe, Arizona. I grew up dining at this restaurant. It’s always an excellent decision to dine in or order to go. I order a Bean Burro, Enchilada style with side of rice. Chimichangas and Enchiladas are recommended as well.

The staff are friendly, checked up on us throughout our meal. The food is nice and hot (I had to blow on it to cool it down). I got a simple 3 tacos w/ rice and beans. They offer 2 different salsas (one ‘regular’ and the other spicy). I appreciate that the spicy salsa is actually spicy/hot . Only minor thing was the chips were stale, but besides that I would recommend this place. Great sevice!

We did some research before choosing Chalos. It seemed like the best place and we weren’t disappointed. The food was spicy as promised. The service was extremely friendly and hospitable. I’m taking a star off just because I thought it was a bit expensive for the amount of food. Regardless it was tasty but was surprised to see a $30 tab for 2 people.

Enjoyed the old-school vibe. It reminds me of El Charro in Mesa. The workers were nice but seemed really shy. I am not trying to be mean, but they gave me the weirdest maragrita I have ever seen in my life. I swear they gave me a baja blast mixed with tequila. It had carbonation. Very strange.

I dined in at chalos tonight with several of my family members And There was a waitress Named Dani i believe a Caucasian woman With glasses. She was very rude right from the jump, 2 of my relatives never even recieved there plates, She was the most unprofessional employee ive ever seen in my entire 34 years of being alive, SHE was “EXTREMELY RUDE” SHE cursed At my 70 year old Grandmother SHE was yelling at her in front of all the customers using profanity language, Very disappointing! SHE Shouted and demanded us to leave and never come back Stated we where not welcome in the establishment, I have never EVER Recieved this type of treatment. Chalos is an amazing restraunt, Has been for years But I highly recommend that this extremely rude individual should no longer be employed at this establishment!

If you’re looking for Mexican food – this place is/was top recommended in town. Courtesy chips n salsa (mild or hot) provided. Food came out very quick, almost too quick – I must have ordered something that the kitchen had ready to go. The trio was generally good, and large proportions.

Authentic Mexican food at a great price with fantastic service. It’s an older building with the small-town Diner feeling. The wait staff are prompt, courteous and efficient. The chips and salsa has two styles of chips and two heats of salsa, all of which are absolutely delicious. The ice tea was cold and kept full. I ordered the number 5 which is a burro that has carne asada meat and a delicious gravy, a machaca taco, and an enchilada. This plate came with perfectly cooked and seasoned rice and beans as well that had a fair sprinkling of really good cheese. All of the above made for the perfect portion. This is going to be a definite stop from now on whenever I am in Globe.
