I am a big fan of the Chadol restaurant group and so happy its made its way to Hoco. I stopped by recently with friends during their soft opening. The cuts of meats were fresh and the service was great. We opted for the AYCE menu. We enjoyed everything from the brisket, top blade steak, pork belly, and pork jowl. All of the cuts did not taste like they were once frozen. The banchan spread was beautiful and the soy bean soup had the right amount of spice. They even include shin ramen in the AYCE menu.
My friends and I really enjoyed our experience here. The ambience was dark and intimate. We saw plenty of families and children enjoying their meals. Our server was attentive. The banchan and waters were constantly getting refilled. We will definitely be back for their a la carte premium cuts.

Food and service was great. If you are looking for AYCE kbbq that has higher quality meat and better ambiance than Iron Age I would choose Chadol. The galbi was my favorite but the fried dumplings were surprisingly delicious!

We made a reservation during soft opening, and didn’t have to wait for seating. Our server Isaac was awesome! Very friendly, attentive, and patient with us. We did All-you-can-eat, which lets you choose from a smaller set of meat options. We tried seasoned top blade steak, soy top blade, bulgogi, pork galbi, and butter garlic shrimp (probably our favorite), and Oreo mousse for dessert. All the meats were nice and tender. The nonstick grills made for quick cleaning between orders and are well vented (ie we didn’t smell too strongly of barbecue after leaving). Looking forward to coming back.

I go to the Rockville location all the time, so I was really happy to see a Chadol open closer to where I live in Columbia. This new location is much bigger than the Rockville one.
As always, Chadol delivers on what it does best – the meat quality is consistently superior. Everything we ordered was fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. It’s great to finally have a convenient nearby location that still maintains the high standards. I’ll definitely be coming back often – probably almost every time my husband and I crave good meat.

My boyfriend and I had heard about this restaurant for a while and finally decided to give it a try for our Valentine’s dinner. We were pleasantly surprised from start to finish. As soon as we walked in, we were placed on the waitlist and guided to our table in about 30 minutes, which went by pretty quickly.
The moment we sat down, our server, Violet, greeted us with such a warm and amazing attitude that it instantly made us even more excited for the rest of the night. She took our drink order right away and when she returned, she got our food order without any delay. We never felt like we were waiting long between anything. It honestly felt like we were being pampered the entire time.
Violet paid attention to even the smallest details. She somehow knew when my boyfriend needed his rice refilled before he even had to ask. When I was about to take pictures of the food presentation, she immediately helped set everything up without me saying a word. That level of attentiveness really stood out to us.
The food was absolutely delicious and worth every dollar. There was a great variety to choose from, and everything was easy to order. The grill stayed consistently hot, which allowed the food to cook quickly, so we did not have to wait long to enjoy each bite.
The restaurant itself was clean and had a semi-open floor layout. You could see the entire space, but it was designed in a way that still made it feel like you had your own little area without feeling crowded. Even the bathroom was clean and well maintained, which made it easy to step away and come right back to enjoying the delicious meal and incredible service.
We will definitely be returning and bringing friends along next time. Highly recommend this place!
