I have lived in Mexico City on and off since 2013 so I was delightfully surprised to find this gem of restaurant in my old hometown of LeSueur! I enjoyed the trio of hot sauces and the carne asada torta was the best torta I’ve had outside of Mexico. I’m looking forward to visiting again to try the chilaquiles.

Very authentic! The presentation is outstanding and everything looks delicious. Takes some getting used to if you’re not accustomed to Mexican dessert cuisine as the blend of spice and sweet is extraordinary. I thought some of the fruit could be more ripe, but no one said it was easy to source fruit in this area. Note: The core of a pineapple is not an acceptable addition.

This spot is literally worth a drive from st.paul. On par with Los Ocompo (twin cities best Mexican food). Hidden gem! Chicken burrito is amazing. Tacos are as authentic as it gets. 1.50 taco Tuesday steal! So surprised a spot like this is in a great small city like Le Sueur. Couldn’t be happier. Don’t leave without a sugar cookie next door. Oh and they have five salsas available. I recommend the habanero or the green avacado, but you can’t go wrong. Amazing all around! Great customer service too!
