Atmosphere: Chabaa Thai Bistro has a truly beautiful ambiance. I loved the interior design, it reflects Thailand’s culture with authentic and elegant details throughout the space.
Food: I ordered the Khao Soi, a northern Thai yellow curry served with crispy egg noodles. The flavors were rich and comforting, and the hint of tartness from the lime balanced the dish perfectly. The portion was generous, more than I expected.

What a beautiful place! We had a lovely dinner served by a lovely waitress, Ciara. She was so kind and helpful. She recommended a wonderful dish and handled herself with grace. 10/10 would visit again; ask for Ciara! Loved the pineapple rice, thanks for the rec!

Every thing was delicious. 10/10 . The service was excellent. The flavors jumped off the plate and the food was so fresh. I enjoyed the crab fried rice and some other appetizers. My server Bernard was very attentive and displayed great customer service.

I loved this place. It was on a Sunday afternoon. I went to church alone and found myself craving something afterwards. It was supposed to snow that day, and I wanted to come home quickly, but I decided to go against it for some reason and found this gem of a restaurant.
The food was incredible and beautifully plated. The artistic direction was appreciated, especially after realizing several other restaurants I wanted to go to were closed. And the taste of the appetizer and meal were better than the presentation.
The service was perfect, considering I was the only person there on the starting to snow afternoon. The waitress served me with attention and detail, making me feel special and cared for throughout the entire time I was there. Could be chalked up to me being the only person there, but it doesn’t take away from my review.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was divine with the decorations and the serenity of the empty space. As pictured below, it was a lovely time to be there. I was the only person there, replicating a scene from a movie. It was magical because of the circumstances of the day, but I still give it 5 stars because of my willingness to try a new restaurant!

After a nice, relaxing hike on the Wissahickon trails, we were craving something healthier to eat for dinner that wasn’t the typical “bar/pub food” options nearby. We made the right choice with Chabaa! I ordered the pineapple, tumeric fried rice with marinated chicken breasts. From the presentation in a pineapple to the aromatic flavors, it is easily one of my new favorite dishes. We were dining outside & a random person walking by saw my plate & decided to order it too! My partner ordered the chicken pad Thai & we were pleased that it wasn’t dry & had the right balance of flavors & peanuts.
Special shout-out to our server, Ariel. She was super friendly, personable, attentive, & genuinely a good person! We really enjoyed our conversations with her. Please take care of her…the world needs more kind people like her

Another birthday dinner. I dine on Thai food that was awesome. The crispy fish, the crab fried rice, etc. I wish I could have sample every dish on the menu. With 3 of us I almost made it. The owner came by our table concerned about how we were enjoying the food. The waitress was great. So much food, of course a doggy bag to go. The next day food was still marvelous. Lovely atmosphere, cozy and comfortable. The wait very short. Food came out hot and o so tasty. Must do it again!

I went here today with my boyfriend. All the workers were very nice. The woman at the door was very welcoming and greeted us when we walked in. The atmosphere felt very relaxing. There was soft music playing in the background and the decor was very nice

Chabaa Thai Bistro is hands down the best Thai food in the area. As a bonus, they also have a sister sushi restaurant—truly the best of both worlds. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always helpful, and the owner often stops by our table herself, which makes the experience feel very personal. Our kids love it, and it’s our go-to spot for birthdays and Asian food. Highly recommend!
