We book this restaurant through Resy because I wanted to use Amex rewards. I love the name of the restaurant! I didn’t know that they ONLY SERVE CEVICHE!! Seafood was great (little too salty) but I was hungry to the end because they don’t have main dishes. I would say this place is good for grabbing drinks with ceviche, not for dinner. Only one guy was serving everything. Making ceviche, drinks and cleaning. So it takes time to get food. Parking is in the back but it’s hard to find it.

Awesome spot, amazing chef who preps/serves/does it all. Highly recommend the callo de hacha and any tostada.

Excellent fresh ceviche. Intimate dining room with great tunes. You can tell the chef/owner is really passionate. The tostadas and ceviche were real standouts, will absolutely go again.

I’m gonna start by saying this I go to hundreds of places and I try different type of food. I go to different cities and I have not heard the best tostada de ceviche until today.

Absolutely delightful! Each bite was a new experience, surpassing the last in flavor and creativity. We truly appreciated the artistry behind the dishes, which were not only delicious but beautifully presented. Even now, I’m reminiscing about those flavors—my mouth is watering just thinking about them! The freshness of the ingredients really shone through in the dishes!

Just tried to go as a single person for a meal alone for my birthday. I was planning on treating myself to a pretty big, spendy meal.
The restaurant was half empty with three tables seated inside, no one outside and no one at the fairly large bar.
I was treated pretty badly. Or perhaps I should say, with disdain as a chore to be dealt with.
The server was pretty uninterested in seating me and basically gave me only one option of a specific seat at the bar to sit at.
The space was tight and I’m a big guy and it would have put me directly in the path of egress and I offered to sit a bit more out of the way so I wouldn’t be a nuisance and was shot down pretty intensely.
I’m a huge and effusive supporter of local businesses. I love to sing a places praises and encourage my friends to become patrons so small businesses succeed especially in my very small neighborhood.
But when a business makes it clear they’d rather not take my money, I make sure to honor their desire and share my experience with friends.
The ceviche project might be fabulous, but I wouldn’t know because I was not welcome and that’s a shame.
If you can choose anywhere else to eat, do so to avoid the potential feeling of being a nuisance at an establishment where you should feel welcome and appreciated in exchange for your patronage.

Amazing food, vibes and service. Seafood is so fresh. Owner is quirky, cool and fun. Love this place. Smaller venue with a vibrant interior design! A must do if in the east-side. Ado great wine to pair with your food!

Tiny digs, make a reso! The staff here is fun to interact with and goes above and beyond to accommodate. We were jet-lagged with a 3 hour time difference and our son was not happy to be at dinner. Despite this, the staff helped us ease into the night. By the end, even my son was feeling merry.

Food and beverage menus are curated to ensure a harmonious duo. After enjoying a variety of wines and sake (from Mexico!), special crudos and shellfish delights, I have to say this was one of our best meals in Los Angeles. Thank you, staff! We’ll see you on Fall Guys (lol).

A MUST for any seafood lover ! Perfect date night spot, unique flavor profiles and some of the best ceviche I’ve ever had !

They have a nice lot at the back with ample parking which is fantastic !
The place is small, if you’re seated outside it’s extremely loud due to the cars but once seated inside the ambiance transformed.
Sam was serving all the tables and was very accommodating to us switching locations which was very nice.

Now on to the food: fresh , clean seafood that really tastes top quality. We absolutely loved everything that we ate; the oysters on the half shell were great (a little on the chili side , less citrus – would have loved lemon personally but everyone else enjoyed them as is).
All the dishes came with their tostadas that are the best tostadas I’ve had. The red snapper ceviche was delicious with nice chunks of fish and jicama. The kanpachi sashimi was so well seasoned with very finely chopped melon & radishes. The stone crab claw came already deconstructed which is a nice treat and they were so delicious with / without the accompanying chille sauce. The scallops were so delicious on their own as well (came garnished with pomegranate and fruit). 5/5 will come back for our seafood cravings
