We decided to go all out and try almost the entire menu. The woman who I believe is the owner gave us great recommendations, and we ordered four tacos gobernador, a mojara, ceviche de pescado, a surf and turf burrito, and a cóctel de camarón.
Everything was amazing — especially the tacos gobernador. They were packed with so much flavor, and the rice they came with was sooo good. The cóctel de camarón had great flavor as well; we added extra salsa since we love spicy food, and that really took it to the next level.
I didn’t personally try the mojara since I’m not a big fan, but my mom absolutely loved it. The ceviche was good, though I think it could’ve used a little more time cooking in the lemon — still very tasty overall.
I would definitely recommend this spot and will for sure be coming back, especially to enjoy the ambience when dining in next time!
From the first glance to the final bite, this meal was a sensory celebration. The tacos were a standout—each nestled in warm, soft corn tortillas and generously filled with golden, crispy battered fish and grilled meats. The contrast of textures was divine: the crunch of shredded cabbage and purple slaw met the creamy richness of a tangy orange sauce that tied everything together with a zesty kick.
The rice was perfectly seasoned, fluffy yet substantial, offering a comforting balance to the bold flavors of the tacos. Alongside, the fresh salad—bright with chopped lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and crispy tortilla strips—added a refreshing crunch and another layer of that irresistible creamy drizzle.
And then came the seafood ceviche: a vibrant medley of shrimp and octopus, marinated to perfection in a citrusy, savory broth. Each spoonful delivered bursts of cucumber, tomato, onion, and cilantro, crowned with silky slices of ripe avocado. It was fresh, chilled, and brimming with coastal charm.
Every plate was a visual feast and a flavor-packed experience. The ingredients were fresh, the textures were crisp, and the seasoning was spot-on. This is the kind of meal that leaves you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished your last bite.
My cousin and I were starving coming from LA and we drove by this place on our way to a different restaurant. We suddenly changed our minds and decided to give it a shot – SO glad we did!!!!
Everything we ordered was far beyond what we expected and delicious – reminded me of Mexico ESPECIALLY their carne en su jugo.
And the staff? SO SWEET!!!! DEFINITELY RETURNING!
Ordered 2 fish tacos & shrimp tostada & a soda, $35 later. Just walked out mid-way through my meal.
I would have thought for $35 it’s bomb or well served but didn’t get either. Super disappointed!
