Second visit here with my lady, and somehow we ended up sitting in the same spot as our first visit. The food was just as delicious as we remembered: fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Again, the tea was perfect – smooth, perfectly steeped, and completed the meal.
It is an awesome place to unwind after a morning hike, as it has a calm and inviting atmosphere. You will find the staff to be very courteous without being intrusive. It’s got that small-town comfort with outstanding food. Definitely one of those spots that gets better every time you go.

Our first visit, our daughter loves it here and brought us for a birthday brunch.
We arrived around 10:15 and had a table for 3 in 10-15 min. even though they estimated a 30 min wait so that was great.
The food was great, made my own omelette. Except their bacon is pork belly, which I’m
It a fan but my husband got it and said it was good. I got the sausage patties, they were delicious! Their home potatoes are red with grilled veggies, perfect.
My only minuses were no milk alternatives, and the food was like warm when arrived.
The place was busy and the service was good. Can get loud and a few bumps to your chair but didn’t really matter, it’s a lovely place. The bakery and coffee scents add to the ambiance. Recommend and we’ll be back when visiting the area.

Went to this place for the first time yesterday and went back with my wife today to try more of the menu. It’s really a great spot. The food is clearly a point of pride here and you can tell they really care about every aspect of a dish. The atmosphere is kind of stealing the show though. It’s in an old 1830sish farmhouse, wood floors, original brick with a bright airy feel. The “dining room” is basically the old living/dining/bedrooms with unique chairs and tables. Outside seating(where we sat)is on an elevated deck next to the garden and feels very relaxing.
Our server(Sarah I believe) was very pleasant, attentive, and accurate. The coffee is great. The crepes are some of the most authentic I’ve had inside the united states. They have both sweet and savory which is a bit unusual here as well. Eggs were cooked perfecty as requested.
Tldr: go try this place! We will be back.

We stopped by C’est La Vie Bistro and tried their hot chocolate, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The texture was perfectly thick and creamy without being too heavy, and the flavor was rich, smooth, and comforting. You can tell it’s made with care — it felt indulgent but still balanced.
If you’re in and around Northborough and craving something warm and cozy, I’d definitely recommend giving their hot chocolate a try. It’s the kind of drink that makes you want to slow down and savor every sip.

A quick getaway in the Spring, to this French based Bostro. The atmosphere provided a timeless effect & ambiance of imagined “Le Villages” in a province. The food matched the atmosphere * was well worth our time together…..
Can’t wait for a clear day to patio it! ( next to Northbourough Library).

Interesting lunch plates with lots of flavor “that’s life” at C’est La Vie. Milli has put together a fun and relaxed atmosphere in this old house. Sandra had French onion soup and I had Croquettes Monsieur and house potatoes, all served with a smile by Alicia.

Food was good. Service was poor. A good server anticipates your needs. No condiments, no spoon or sugar for my coffee, cold before I got sugar. No refills on our water which was served in small glasses. No clearing of dirty dishes. No follow up on meal or drinks.

Very beautiful bistro. It took approximately 30 minutes for us to get a table on weekend.
While we waited we started with coffee and macaroons. Coffee was really good and macaroons were perfect. Staff were very friendly. Ask for quiche of the day if you are non- vegetarian, they are delicious. Babettes’ feast was scrumptious. We did not find many vegetarian savoury options. I have visited this place twice before and I absolutely love coming here for brunch.

Came for a gathering. Food is amazing. Fantastic crepe. Feels like a French cottage/village, as if I’ve come for a Europe trip. Awesome place for brunch or lunch. Would aim to share with a group. FYI the ice tea has a strong unique flavor, not a usual ice tea. It was strong and bitter at first, but I came to like it over time. Went well with food. The place is kids-friendly and there is parking in the rear. Would love to come again .

Always hit this spot few times a month! This place is a charm. I love the vibe of the venue. The decor is very creative. They don’t use matching chairs, plates, or cups; which I love and it’s little quirkinesses! Such a fun, funky vibe, delicious food, coffee alone is worth the wait. Truly, truly delicious food, classic homey vibes, and an amazing team! C’est La Vie Bistro has it all and then some for an awesome out of culture French Brunch experience!
