Came here for a Saturday dinner, booked in advance, as the place is packed.

The shrimp heads are a must-try. If you want a cocktail, get the Adonis. And if you order the manila clams, trust me you’ll want some sourdough to go with it.

Wow. This place, unassuming and so chill, has some of the best food I’ve had as of late. It’s a cozy, dim-lit space and we were lucky to snag a res last minute. We started with vermouth service and shared 4 starters and one main. Fried artichokes (had to order the bread to mop up the dressing ), cabbage salad (damnnnn), tuna conserva (a dish I’ll dream about on end), prawns (what flavor!) and the golden rice with chorizo and trout (rich but incredibly flavorful). Every single dish was a standout. Ended with the Pao de lo cake – like a dessert drink in cake form, not for the booze averse. Service was great, atmosphere was cool. No wonder this place is hard to get into!!

One of my NYC favourites — a trifecta of lovely food, drinks, and vibes. Perfect for group get-togethers, or come early and grab a solo spot by the window (great for people-watching in warmer weather if you’re into that…which I definitely am).

One of my favorite restaurants in NY. Great food, vibes and service. It’s gotten very popular so try to book in advance. The peri peri chicken and the skate wing are so good .

This plaice is so good, I didn’t take the time to take pictures. Seriously, they have amazing wine selection, if you want some refreshing wine then ask for PamPaneo wine, it’s really great for those summer days.

Amazing. The service, food, wine list & atmosphere (especially the atmosphere / vibe) we’re all spot on. You must get the chicken piri piri — one of the best we’ve ever had.

Delicious food – lives up to its description of Coastal Spain and Portugal. We tried as many dishes as we could and everything was great, though the oysters were unimpressive (for an oyster bar!). Our favorite were the Manila clams. We recommend getting a side of their homemade sour dough to soak up all the good sauces from the clams and the shrimp. We appreciated our waitress letting us sample some wines before deciding! Our one star off is because the price point is pretty high. Although the food is good, the portions are on the smaller side and the space really squeezed everyone in. You can only walk around the resto in single file. I’d say come for a special occasion when the occasion doesn’t need to be white cloth fancy – but nice lighting and a good menu.

Intimate spot with an impressive wine menu offering a plethora of pairings for its many seafood plates. The highlight of the meal for us were the mussels, with the fried sourdough serving as a close second. We would not recommend the fried skate wing as it was fairly bland and did not pack quite as big of a punch flavor-wise as we anticipated. Our server Matthew was excellent, explaining the many dishes in detail and providing a multitude of recommendations. Overall, a decent seafood spot that unfortunately did not live up to the hype.
