The food isn’t worth the price. There was a huge line and I paid 17.67 for 1 bottle of water, a scoop of pork, a burnt piece of toast and a small thing of beans. Ughhhh welcome to stone mountain Park. Waited over 30 minutes too. It says it’s called camphouse BBQ but I really don’t know what restaurant this is. Receipt says basecamp.

The food here was really good! We got the pulled pork plate with fries and a turkey leg! The line was long but we went during the pumpkin festival so therefore we had a lot of people watching us eat and the food is fairly expensive! We would definitely go back though!

About the best as can be expected in a non-Disney amusement park. The place feels like the employees might turn hoses on to clean it. Kitchen and food service were disorganized until a manager stepped in, but even the manager couldn’t clear the backlog quickly.

What a charming experience at Base Camp Bbq. My wife and I attended the Stone Mountain Christmas celebration and stumbled on to the restaurant during our time there 5-9pm. We decided to try the baked cinnamon bread that was a very popular item there. It was amazing delicious. The bread was easy to separate into single bite sizes and the sugary cinnamon glaze was simply incredible. What a treat. The most incredible part of our experience there was meeting the manager Ms LINDA. She was extremely polite, hospitable, kind and made our entire visit memorable. For such a busy location, Ms Linda kept the place running smooth and made guests like ourselves feel welcome and appreciated. Ms Linda in my opinion is what Christmas is all about. What a kind hearted and caring person who made our entire experience at Stone Mountain one to remember. We will be back to enjoy the fresh baked cinnamon bread and warm hospitality . Be sure to ask for Ms Linda. All the best . Merry Christmas to all

Worst restaurant I’ve eaten at in a very long time. $57 for 2 kids and 2 adults. The chicken BBQ dry and gross. The chips we’re the only thing half decent. My daughter said her schools BBQ was better. The tables were dirty and disgusting look like they hadn’t been wiped in a year. Super disappointing! if I could give this zero Stars I would.

Below average bbq at best but also a total rip off. A side of Cole slaw is a tiny 1 oz ramekin. Like is that a joke? Just pack a picnic when you go to SM. All the food is meh!

First of all the staff was really rude to my mother, who was just trying to ask questions. Along with that the staff were not trained and didn’t listen to anything we were telling them. The chicken was dry and gross; my nephews had the hot dog and it was so chewy and sort of crusty on the outside that they refused to eat it. Overall never coming here again. Just yuck.

Worst food I’ve ever had outside of a jail. Chicken nachos were covered in bland white cheese dip looking stuff and about a couple half chip scoops of what looked like canned chicken and bbq sauce. Everybody else agreed and they all had various menu items ordered. I keep burping that taste up from 2 hr ago…I would eat some ketchup packets right now to change the taste in my mouth.

Staff was rude and cursed at the guest behind me. You pay way too much for hardly any food. Part if me understands because its a park but they short change you on food more than usual due to the containers they put it in. The wait may be longer at the other food establishment but it’s worth it. If I ever come back to stone mountain I won’t be eating here ever again

I absolutely DO NOT recommend eating here. The staff was friendly, however the service is slow and the food tastes TERRIBLE. I expected the prices to be high and the food quality to be sub par given the location (within Stone Mountain Park), but I thought the pricing was not appropriate. I ordered the bbq chicken nachos, requesting the chicken and bbq sauce on one half side only since I was sharing with my picky six year old. The server placed the chicken on one side, but accidentally put the bbq sauce over the entire plate of nachos. It was an honest mistake, and I didn’t want to fuss, so I accepted the meal as is. I was not surprised when my child refused to eat it, so I went back in the line and asked for a kids or side order of chips and cheese only. When I went to check out, I was charged the same for chips and cheese as I was for chips, cheese, bbq chicken, sour cream and jalapeños. I asked why the price was the same and the cashier said ‘it just is, I can give you the chicken on the side of you want’. Seems crooked to me.
