This is my favorite hangout place! We always sit by the bar so that we can chat a bit with the owner and also, the food is of real great quality;) price is at medium to upper end but all dishes are worth every penny. The narvajas, gambas rojas and zamburinos are a must, they will blew your mind away

Not a fan of the tiger mussel as recommended, they blended the mussel with creamy stuff, topped with crumbs and bake it, just too creamy for my liking and i could not taste the mussels. Razor clam and scallops great. Sicilian octopus, if you like bonito flakes, you will like this dish. Tuna tartare ok. Overall not bad, above average. One thing i have to mention is i was eating alone and was the only person seated inside in the restaurant. I wanted to have tapas like everybody else but they seated me inside and i specifically asked if the menu would be the same and she said yes. But portion was not the same, so i doubt the price would be too. If you want to have small tapas, maybe sit on the high chairs at the front in the restaurant (not outside, cost extra) and just point to what others were eating. Also i don’t speak spanish so i give them the benefit of the doubt.

Cerveceria Monje is fantastic! The quality of the food is outstanding. We had oysters from Galicia, scalops and clams. Everything was extraordinary and super fresh! We can’t wait to be back and try more things. The owner Luis was an amazing host, he made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Thank you for your hospitality, we’ll be back!
