Welcome to Cerritos Pupuseria! This is our second location, our original location is located right off route 50 in Chantilly Virginia. We’ve been there since 2007 and decided to expand to Sterling Virginia. We are excited to be serving the Sterling community!

First time here, and it’ll be my last. It was hard finding the place because it looks like they are just renting the place. It’s originally called Joe’s Restaurant, and Cerritos Pupuseria had a hanging sign that was dangling. Atmosphere did not feel welcoming. The restaurant smelled like a mixture of cleaning products and something else that I can’t put my hands on. Ordered the soup, which was way too salty, 3 big chunks of carrots, 3 big chunks of zucchini, 1 small corn, 1 small potatoes but NO meat or chicken. My chicken platter had nothing but a whole bunch of rice and 2 chicken.

I picked up a TooGoodToGo order before they closed. The food was very good and hot. Very nice people inside and everything looked clean. All their food looked great. I will be back soon.

Went in with a party of four, midday on the weekend. The restaurant itself looks great, and the food was good! Some of their menu items seemed pricey, but we stuck to the tacos and pupusas, which were reasonable.
Didn’t even get our waitresses name, but really matter as she only came by to take our order. My mom asked for ice, and she just did not come back at any point. Who i presume was the busser and another man (who knows) came to check on us once. It hurts to know that their customer service is as barebones as possible. It’s like a bad habit of restaurants in the area.
A more minor note… while acknoledging it is a newer reataurant, would like to see less plastic at the table. Its a nice, spacious and sit down restaurant, but the sides and curtido came in plastic deli cups and Styrofoam. It doesn’t align with the initial presentation that’s given.

Amazing food! They have some of the best pupusas I’ve ever had. The staff is super friendly, and it feels like a cozy, welcoming spot. It’s definitely become one of my favorite places to grab a good meal.

Very nice restaurant, we accidentally ordered from their other location for pick up but they were gracious enough to make the food immediately and not charge us for our mistake. Huge side of platanos that I did not expect and am happy to report, crema that came with them was fresh and amazing. Pupusas are a bit pricey but worth it 100% they are huge and 2 will fill you up. 10/10 this is our spot now

They just open this location and we have already been multiple times! We’re long time fans of the Chantilly location as well. Food is delicious and service has been super fast and friendly each time. My family has tried the tacos, yuca con chicharron , pupusas, carne asada and the fajita mixto. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!
