I don’t like to be negative but unfortunately I am not happy with my last order and I do want to share. I ordered a large cheese and a 2 liter. 30 bucks. An hr for delivery and the pizza arrived cold. I asked for root beer and they did not have. That’s fine, I asked for sprite and they delivered sprite winter cranberry edition.
The pizza crust tasted just like it smelled. Old and dirty.

I am so happy Central Pizza has reopened after calling it quits. It amazes me what the Red Lion Community did for this small business. Central has a newfound passion and it shows. With a newly refreshed dining room and so many new options to choose from like Grab and Go, Make Your Own, Catering, Desserts, and Pay it Forward, the shop has the potential to grow and to run another 40+ years.

We ordered a Sicilian pizza with pepperoni and thought it was just “okay”. The sauce is flavorful and you get a good amount for your money, but we felt as if the Sicilian was too bread heavy. While a Sicilian is supposed to have a think crust, I felt like I was eating a loaf of break more than I was eating a pizza. We may order from Central Pizza again in the future, but we’d definitely try something else. There are also other pizza places in the area that we enjoy more, so we’d probably just opt for them.

Been going here for years. Tonight ordered a Sicilian Style Pizza. 1st, the regular portioned toppings were barely there. 2nd, the bottom of the pizza was burned. 3rd, the “extra” cheese was barely a regular portion… $31.60? Really? Thankfully the 2 orders of wings were fine, but if this is the new “normal” for their pizza, then sadly we won’t be going back.

My boyfriend and I usually order pizza and cannoli but tonight I went in for something in the grab and go fridge instead. There was nothing, but cheesecake and soup. No worries! I just looked at the menu and tried to find something that shouldn’t take too long to be prepared. I choose a Caesar salad with chicken, garlic bread, and cannoli. $23 and 25 minutes later I finally walk out with what I hope is a great dinner. Imagine my surprise when I get home to a salad with maybe 1 cup of lettuce, 1/4 cup of cubed chicken, a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese and stale burnt croutons that cost me $10.75. I regularly order a chicken Caesar salad from a similar style pizza shop at work that costs $8.50 and is 3x the size! I feel ripped off. I truly like supporting local business especially one I know has worked hard to stay open during the last year, but it’s hard to want to when I feel like I’m being ripped off.

I recently moved to the area and ordered from here on our move-in day. My food arrived 45 minutes late, BUT when I called twice to inquire about the status of the delivery, I was answered with genuine apologies. It seemed they were busier than usual and orders backed up. My kids and I were starving, but things happen. When our food finally arrived, it was delicious and HOT. We live about 15 minutes away and, to be honest, I wasn’t expecting the fries to still be hot upon arrival, especially because it was a chillier evening. I was shocked though, almost burning my tongue. So tasty, great portions, and good, respectful communication from the employees. Definitely recommend!

Classic thin crust pie. First time customer, I luckily came in as a fresh slice pie was coming out & the pizza was PERFECT! Nice crust ratio, perfect amount of sauce & cheese. These people know what their doing & I highly recommend them!

Extra fees are a turn off though.
They advertise their prices flat, but then add:
$3 carry out fee (if you pick it up yourself they charge you for it.)
$1.75 convenience fee.?
A $24 Stromboli ends up being $30+ after sales tax is added.
On days when I’m craving Italian, I check my account, and I have to choose “no”. I can’t justify $5 more in extra fees that weren’t disclosed on the menu.
