This isn’t fine dining, but authentic, honest tasting of home cooking. If only I could make pork chops taste this good! Fries are exceedingly hot and crispy, and all sides were admirably good (hubby applauded the rice), kiddies had hamburgers and were happy too. The menu changes and lots of locals get take out from here. Exceptionally good value. Cash only

The food is excellent! However, I called last Wednesday and asked if I could reserve two orders of Katchupa for Saturday. The staff member who answered checked with whoever was in charge and confirmed I could place the order for pick up Saturday. There was a CV parade that day and the line was a block down the road. I went to the front to pick up the order I placed two days ago. All the staff members looked at me puzzled and my order was not prioritized. There are many ways to rectify the situation. Instead I was told “we have plenty of Katchupa, just order some”. I proceeded to ask if I had to wait in the long line as I ordered days ago. The staff said yes I will have to go to the back of the line. They could have called to let me know they could not accomodate me, instead I show up to pick up a confirmed order and was sent away with nothing. I am a loyal customer and feel they could have just given me the pre made Katchupa to rectify the miscommunication. It would have taken 2 minutes of thier time. After all I did place an order and they confirmed it. It’s not my mistake its theirs.

Love this place since mom and pops used to be there, there Is a new owner now, I called to order a catchupa over the phone, I went there to pick it up it wasn’t ready, she pointed at the stove and said hes working on it right now, so I sat on down, over 25min passed I see her grab a container of catchupa and put it in the microwave, so I was like what is that in the microwave they usually re heat it on the stove. So I get up and see her putting it in the cup for me, the woman in the front has the nerve to tell me I will have to heat it up again because it’s still a little COLD!! So I asked why they didn’t do it on the stove like always, she tells me that oh you have to ask because we only make it on the Monday and Wed or w.e the dates. So that is the reason you made me wait almost an half hour just to microwave my food after telling me that the guy is working on it.
So that mean all your food is microwaved, that is a disappointment, I used to love this place but just because of her lying to me and try to make it seem like I am a aggressive customer, raised her voice and everything because she knew she was wrong. You are a restaurant you don’t give people microwave food. Unfortunately I will never get food from there again and I hate that. So to the woman in the front Thank you for ruining that!! You need a different job or let the guys run the place because you ain’t it!!
