All of the food is homemade, so it is very fresh. The deserts are from a bakery, but the desserts are still homemade. The waitress was very nice. The lemon meringue pie was excellent, I would recommend it. The grilled chicken Ceasar wrap was also delicious. Finally, all the prices were very reasonable.

Great comfort food! The hot beef sandwich was exactly what I expected; sliced seasoned roasted beef on top of sliced white bread with a scoop+ of mashed potatoes covered in gravy. The chicken dumpling soup was very flavorful and delicious. This to-go order was prepared and ready before I could complete the payment. And a very fair price for a full-belly meal. I would highly receommend trying this local secret for a fair priced wholesome meal. I’m looking forward to trying one of their daily specials.
If there were an online ordering option it would make it convenient to explore more of their menu. I tried to call ahead but understandably didn’t get through as they were attending to patrons in-house during the lunch rush. I’m looking for lunch options within 15 minutes from work and this is a great new (for me) option!
They accept most CC’s but I didn’t see AmEx on their list.

Excellent location. Great food. Love the small town Cafe in this heart of this old town. You can get old fashioned meals like meatloaf, and a restaurant that still has “specials!” Love this place.

Went to breakfast with a group for the first time. I had the steak skillet daily special. The steak was plentiful and done nicely. The price for the amount of food was great. Friendly and courteous staff. Wonderful coffee and home town atmosphere

It is good for what it is. Service is great. Best pancakes around. The syrup could be changed. Watery and flavorless. Biggest problem is breakfast meat. Sausage is a hamburger patty and the bacon is stringy and bad tasting. Not pork for sure.

My hubs and I went back for breakfast. They have the BEST pancakes. Syrup is icky. What bothered me was the meat sides. Our waitress never told us that they didn’t serve pork. Instead, I received a hot dog instead of sausage and some weird kind of beef bacon. Very disappointing. Who serves a hamburger patty and a hot dog for breakfast. At least give ppl the heads up. Put a sign up or something. Breakfast is great but just know they don’t serve any pork.

I met my sister in law for breakfast here. I had never been here before and was in town. It was all fresh down home food. Great flavor, large portions and and attentive service. Only 1 waitress, but she was very good.
