We visited today and the gentleman who helped us was a very polite young man with a mullet and a ball cap. He was extremely friendly and offered suggestions and was willing to help. We left him a large tip simply because he was so pleasant and was very generous offering us lots of samples. My wife had regular vanilla with wet nuts sundae and she was in love. I tried the cookie butter and it was excellent. Ice cream was smooth and creamy and we would definitely go back!

Celtic Creamery is a must-visit for ice cream lovers! Their unique flavors, like From the Sea and Bee, are absolutely delicious and I’m definitely craving it everyday. It’s been years since we’ve visited, but the memory of their ice cream still lingers. The friendly staff, like Barbie/Barbara at the connected shop, add to the charm. We’re already planning our next trip back, and Celtic Creamery is at the top of our list. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by – you won’t regret it!

Ice cream on the beach!! That just screams summer. But.. have you ever had chewy gummy ice cream? Let’s talk about it.
First, this place is at the back of Shenanigans Gift shop. But use the side entrance and you don’t have to walk through the shop. The shop is very cramped and hard to navigate. Especially with a stroller or small kids.
Now, about this chewy ice cream. The ice cream is delicious. Very rich in flavor, so you’ll need a drink too, just to break it up.
But it has this odd chewy gummy texture. You can actually chew it, and it’s stretchy. So don’t go in expecting soft serve or a lite creamy treat. I will try to attach a video to show what I mean.

The likes of Award winning Irish Ice Cream made with fresh, all natural ingredients. A wide variety of signature Sundaes got us testing and enjoying the likes of the Cookie Monster sundae. A warm, fresh oven chocolate chip cookie topped with two scoops of ice cream and a sauce of your choosing. We had the “oh no” cookie dough and from the sea and bee with Caramel topping. Chocolate shavings topped it all off. A wide variety of smooth, sweet ice cream and a good number of toppings. The shop also features a wide variety of gifts, clothing and other vacationing collectibles in their gift boutique.

Stopped here while visiting Kure beach. I come from Dairyland and I’ve had a lot of ice cream in my life…. And this was the best I’ve ever had! The staff was super kind and helpful. And the gift shop is so cute!

It wasn’t the best nor the worst ice cream. I loved that the service let us sample the ice creams and the server was happy to let us sample. It (Vanilla, but also the other flavors as well) melted quite fast into my waffle cone and was overly sweet, which got monotonous to eat as you continued. I would prefer a cup of HÄAGEN-DAZS which would be similar priced.

Popped in here on vacation for some ice cream. I got cookies and cream on a cake cone. Kids got ice cream too. It was good, but they had limited flavors.
I think the store part is odd as well.
