Wow this place was so much better than I could’ve hoped for. My husband & I came in here for a sweet treat, but the smell of the food when we first walked in led us to order chicken shawarma. It was so amazing & flavorful, even the fries were some of the best we’ve had. The service was amazing too & the man at the cash register was kind. The desert…. oh my. I loveee baklava, its always my go to wherever I go & this was some of the best baklava I’ve ever had. There were so many different flavors & all of the ones I tried were delicious. I very much recommend this place. I will be coming back quite often as I’ve found some of my new favorite food!!

Out of this world!! What a great experience. I’m from New York where the food and service is unmatched and I have struggled to find places in the area that I am happy with. Walking back to the car from dinner and stumbled upon this diamond in the rough. The baklava rivals some of the best places in New York. It is perfect in every way. We took almost one of everything home, but not before the gracious host asked us to sit down for a little surprise. He made the most delicous Chai, topped with cinnamon or nutmeg, and a piece of warm pistachio baklava with a scoop of ice cream in the middle. What a beautiful experience and perfect ending to my little adventurous date night.

11/10 this cozy cafe has great range of options for food and drinks! Went for lunch but the breakfast menu also looked very delicious! The food came very quick and there was great service we even got some free samples of homemade chai which was so so tasty for a bit of a chilly day. Would definitely come back again!

We were interested in exploring some of the international cuisine in Roanoke and love coffee, so we stopped in for a light breakfast. This has been the first place I’ve seen to get Turkish coffee and it was great, just the right amount of sweetness. The baklava was amazing. We will definitely come back soon.

Great place for local coffee and eats! I do wish they opened a bit earlier through the week but hey, we take what we can get!
I call ahead and order the chicken shawarma to go, with hot sauce. They do a wonderful job on put bread, just enough for a full breakfast. Also highly recommend their lamb gyros. Authentic taste and made fresh, don’t forget the hot sauce.
Also if you have a sweet tooth, my whole office thinks they have the best baklava in town and rave about it when i bring it in. I typically grab one to go with a hot coffee.
They have ice cream options as well, definitely get an affogato! Their house espresso over a vanilla pecan ice cream
Heads up, no restrooms, and not much seating room. So it fills up fast during the day. Owners and staff are super friendly and willing to make suggestions, they do stay busy in the back preparing food and coffee.
I always recommend this spot to folks traveling through town.

The spanakopita and falafel were crispy, fresh, and excellent. More than a dozen baklava and pastry varieties make choosing a challenge. Turkish coffee was thick and spicy. Just visiting the Taubman Museum, but want to come back to eat here again!

Guys, this place is the kind of place where you KNOW they are passionate about their food and drinks. I tried:
– hot chai with oatmilk
– my boyfriend’s Dubai chocolate strawberry cup
– some almondmilk ice cream
All was AMAZING. Seriously. The ice cream was so creamy and yummy. The chai was the perfect sweetness and great for the cool weather. And the chocolate strawberries, wow.
I wish we’d have eaten there for dinner. It’s definitely going to be my go-to for Roanoke trips. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!!!!

Oh wow Anyone visiting this area has to try the Arabic ice cream! It has a delicious cardamom flavor. Also, the white coffee was excellent! What is white coffee, you ask? It’s actually green coffee with milk, cardamom, and other spices. It’s pricy, but it’s delectable! Oh and the hummus Get over there to try Cello today!!
