Went for dinner on a Saturday night and it was pretty dead – maybe because it’s completely hidden by the construction on the side of the building
Service was great. Very attentive and kind.
We ordered the spinach/kale dip and brussel sprouts for appetizer and both were great choices.
Pizza was decent with light dough 8/10.
Chipotle stuffed chicken was a solid 9/10. The mashed potatoes could definitely be better.
Filet Mignon was OK 7/10. Wouldn’t order again.
Lamb chops 2/10. One of the pieces smelled like literal poop. We asked the server to smell it and he did admit he smelled something but believes it was the rosemary. Trust me it smelled like straight dookie.
Parking at 601 Travis Chase Garage was convenient and you have to ask for your server for parking voucher. $6.95 that gets charged to your bill for parking. I did have problems with the barcode not working exiting the garage but was able to call for help and get let out.

Went to Cellar7 on a Sunday evening before an show at the Hobby. Service was attentive, Lavender martini delicious, food was savory. Their store front is currently blocked by construction. A definite stop in for the bubbly decor, cozy vibe and tasty food. . The 4 items that we ordered were delicious.

We decided that we wanted steak for supper. But not all steakhouses or restaurants are worthy of patronage. So we decided to reconoiter downtown Houston early in the day. To be honest, there were some amazing restaurants that we thought were possibly worthy of trying, but they were extremely expensive. Don’t get me wrong, we don’t mind spending a lot of money, at least occasionally, but we really wanted to get a great steak with all the accoutrements and if we could get it at an amicable price, well that would be awesome. That’s when we stumbled upon Cellar7. No sooner than we checked out the place we set our reservations. And we were not disappointed. Enjoyed a house salad, would you have to ask for it it’s not on the menu, a half dozen oysters, and the brussel sprouts almondine, and then for our main entrees, the tenderloin skewers, and the filet mignon. It was all very delicious, and I recommend that everyone would give it a try.

Came here for Valentine’s Day with my fiancé and could not have had a better experience! Sena was AMAZING and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. By far one of the best waitresses we have ever had.

Came for dinner before a Drunk Shakespeare performance. Seated immediately and our server Jason was upfront about having just started, so hadn’t had the chance to try everything, but happy to get any answers to any questions.
Not extensive, but quality wine selection. Hummus was excellent.
All of our entrées were hot, fresh and tasty, and Jason checked in frequently without being intrusive. In fact, all of the employees were great.
Not embarrassed to admit gnawing on the lamb chops bones since they were so tasty!
Very comfortable dining in the heart of downtown HTX. Excellent experience.

Cute restaurant downtown. Good food and solid drinks. I had the shrimp carbonara and a mule. Both were really tasty. Friendly service. Open area with plenty of seating.

Talk about some good brunch food, service and atmosphere. I ordered the French Toast, 8.9/10 bacon was next level. Hot date next to me loved the oysters.

This restaurant is very cute and suitable for all ages. They have indoor and outdoor seating, both are super nice. I ate there with my sister and dad, and they came out with our food pretty quick for three meals! I got the Steak and Eggs and it was very good.

We had dinner at Cellar 7 before the ballet which is in walking-distance to the Wortham. It’s a cute downtown spot with outdoor seating. Our waiter, Hunter, gave recommendations and shared his favorites. We went with his suggestion and it did not disappoint. Basil Chicken Club with truffle fries. Dinner salad with Garlic lemon vinegarette. Everything was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The portions were shareable which was an excellent value! Hunter was personable and attentive. Cellar 7 was such an unsuspecting spot for a lovely meal. Not just a place for wine! We’ll definitely go back for dinner before a downtown show.
