We were trying to find a place to have lunch and saw a sign about a steak sandwich so we walked in. At first I thought we had made a mistake because it looks like a night club or lounge, but the bartender assured us we could have lunch there.
My wife had the Cuban sandwich and I had a BBQ sandwich. We were both happy with the flavor and portion size. It was a nice meal and our server, Kayla i think he name was, did a great job with everything.
I would definitely recommend trying this place and I’m hoping we can come back for the steak sandwich. Thanks!

The Cellar Door was a pleasant venue with exceptionally attractive and attentive waitstaff who provided top-notch service. I would rate their waiter service as a solid 10/10. However, during our visit for lunch, the place seemed rather empty, which did allow for a peaceful dining experience. The music playing in the background was enjoyable, and it was refreshing to have a meal in such a serene atmosphere.

For my lunch, I opted for the steak sandwich with a side of salad, accompanied by a refreshing glass of water. The steak sandwich was decent, although it was cooked closer to medium well rather than the medium rare I had requested. The salad, on the other hand, consisted of fresh ingredients, but the dressing was a bit too sour for my liking.

Overall, I believe it would be worthwhile to revisit The Cellar Door during the evening when the ambiance is livelier. Despite the slight disappointment with the steak sandwich and dressing, the excellent service from the stunning waitstaff made the experience quite enjoyable.

Ulises connects with everybody on a personal level. Whether it be your first time meeting him, he treats you like a good friend. The Cellar Door’s atmosphere has risen since he’s been a part of the staff team. Plus him being the bartender there >>

The club has an interesting vibe and is worth a visit, but there are some concerns. The food is overpriced, especially the bar snacks, and drinks are quite costly. We’ve been on different days and noticed some staff drama, including turning away certain clients while allowing known gang members in. Some staff on the floor tend to hit on clients, and I even saw one leave with a visibly drunk person. While the club is popular with young people, many women have reported safety issues and stolen belongings, which is worrying. Overall, the atmosphere can be fun, but be cautious about safety and prices.

“A Club Hater’s Spiritual Awakening at Cellar Door (ft. Ulises Valdez, the Mixology Messiah)”

Okay, let me start by saying I hate clubs. Like, truly. I’d rather wrestle a cactus than stand shoulder-to-shoulder with sweaty strangers listening to bass that rearranges my internal organs. But somehow… SOMEHOW… Cellar Door and Ulises Valdez converted me.

From the moment I walked in, Ulises greeted me like I was a VIP celebrity who just dropped an album. The man was mixing drinks like a wizard casting spells. I swear I saw smoke and sparkles when he shook that cocktail shaker — it was art. I asked for “something good” and got a drink so delicious I momentarily saw my ancestors dancing under disco lights.

Every time I thought, “Okay, one more drink then I’m out,” Ulises would pull another masterpiece out of thin air like, “Try this one.” And of course, I had to. By the end of the night, I was hyping up strangers, vibing to music I didn’t know existed, and declaring Cellar Door my new religion.

In conclusion:
✨ The vibes — immaculate.
✨ The drinks — dangerously good.
✨ Ulises — deserves a Nobel Prize in bartending.

I walked in a club hater and left a Cellar Door disciple. If Ulises is behind the bar, I’m never skipping club night again

The team at Cellar Door is amazing. I walked in, from the other side of the country, and felt right at home. Their hospitality was top notch.

It is the perfect atmosphere to kick back, relax, and enjoy yourself.

Food and drinks are both fantastic. I went with the Executive Chef’s (and now HR ) seasonal recommendation of radishes and was pleasantly surprised. Never have I considered eating radishes, but if I’m back in the area and they are on the menu, I am having them again. Highly recommend you give the dish a try if it is in season.

The team is also creative with their own specialty drinks with elements from nature. I had (also recommended!) the Irish Orange Mojito. It was light, crisp, and refreshing. Perfect on its own or paired with dinner.

The whole experience was fantastic. They welcomed me in and made me feel right at home. I couldn’t be happier that they invited me to explore their menu as I was exploring Main St./Downtown Visalia.

Big shot out to the whole team, thanks for a wonderful experience!

Great venue for live music. Friendly staff. Appetizers were okay. Drinks have gone up in price a few dollars just like any other bar.

Nice venue and location. Comedy show was great but it was like sitting in a sauna for two hours. Customers and the performers were consistently complaining about how hot it was. There was literally no air moving in that room and it was a sold out event. My first time going there but I’d really have to rethink going again, just because of the lack of air conditioning. If I was the owner and my air conditioning wasn’t working, I would bring portable fans in. It would’ve made it big difference.
