Wow! My daughter and I were visiting Palo Alto from Australia, staying in a nearby hotel, and found heaven on earth at Celia’s. “Mexican” food in Australia is meh at best, but Celia’s did not disappoint. From the exquisite happy hour margaritas to the authentic, delicious dishes, we enjoyed every bit (and bite) of our time here. In fact, we loved it so much that we returned the next night! Thanks to all the friendly staff (on both nights) who made our visit such a pleasure. We’ll definitely be back!

Went here for my wife’s birthday. I specifically told the server. He completely ignored it. We had to keep asking him for basic things. There was a spider crawling across our table. The server ignored that too, we had to take care of it ourselves. Then he was disgusted that we needed a new napkin. The bartender tried to take our plates before we were done. He didn’t ask. He just grabbed them and tried to take them away. We were left sitting there for more than a half hour after we were done. The server disappeared. It wasn’t busy. There were only 2 other tables. Just inattentive employees.

We have been coming here for years. It is not the same place that it used to be. The experience has been getting worse within the past few years and is now REALLY bad. The prices have increased a lot. Service is slow, inattentive, and impersonal. Extremely high prices and not worth it. Doubt we will return anymore.

What a great site for a Mexican restaurant at the quality. The prices are reasonable. The food is excellent and the services perfect. If you want good authentic Mexican food this is the place to go Celia’s is located in multiple locations and I must say I have tried several and been very happy whether you’re coming here with friends or family come with an appetite. Enjoy the beverages and chill. .

A good Mexican restaurant which has a large portions. They also have chips & salsa with unlimited refills. The food is kind of hit and miss. I tried fajitas, molcajete, shrimp cocktail, enchiladas & Celia’s sampler. The shrimp cocktail was delicious and enchiladas & fajitas seemed decent. I did not like the appetizers.

Really, really enjoyed the food and ambiance here! The entry way/outdoor seating area is leafy and private, even though the restaurant is on the side of the road you don’t really notice it even if you’re sitting outside
The chips and salsa were really excellent, or I should say that the food itself and in general was definitely top notch. At first we thought the meals were a little pricy but decided after a few bites that the food was definitely worth the cost.
I’ve been looking for a good authentic Mexican sit-down restaurant in the area and this place definitely really impressed me.
Can’t wait to come back!

Loved eating here and I will be back. I have to admit, I am an enchilada snob and when I eat at a Mexican Restaurant, what I order the first time I eat there are enchiladas. Celia’s, has good salsa, excellent enchiladas, I had the ground beef with red sauce, and the obligatory refried beans and rice were exceptional. Great atmosphere. My only complaint is the parking which needs to be expanded but I will park and walk here. It was that fabulous! Thank you, Celia’s.

I’m a seriously picky Mexican food lover and really enjoyed it here. The chips and salsa were seriously addictive. I’m not typically a chips lover but these were just magical. The service was great. I ordered the chicken enchilada lunch special and was served a generous portion. Super well priced for quality food. Tip: go for an early dinner or late lunch for a quiet lovely experience. Cool inside and beautiful outside dining as well. Fun murals with comfortable seating.

Very good salsa!

I had the espresso burrito with the Verde pork. it was delicious!

My food came quickly once ordered.

The only hiccup, it took almost 45 minutes to get my order placed. The place was very packed and the wait staff Seemed spread pretty thin. Probably not a place to go if you have time sensitive plans. Otherwise, this place is great!

It was an ok place for the timing. I ordered a shrimp cocktail which cost $24 and was scorching hot. No utensils, I had more cabbage than beans/rice, and no tortillas for my shrimp wrapped with bacon. The morning after and throughout the night was not very well met with open arms or a smile; pun intended. I would not recommend this place, it was not a great experience for us.
