If you are hungry for lamb, this is the place to go! Compared to all the other places with lamb selections in town, this spot definitely does the best with it. I’ve been going here to eat since I was a kid and they have never disappointed. Sometimes they are low on certain things or out of them but I’ve never had a problem finding something on the menu just as good. One of my favorite bars to get food from. The dining and bar are also separate which makes it appropriate for families looking for a place to take their kids to eat!

Found this little place while browsing and decided to try. More popular than expected. The bar is separate from the dining which is good for families. The food was plentiful and very good. Sits quietly on a side street with parking lot.

Food is always delicious. Tonight the special was stuffed peppers & mashed potatoes! Two huge peppers & large portion of mashed potatoes! Very delicious! Well worth a trip to the East side of New Castle.

This is one of my favorite places EVARRR. It’s smack in the middle of a blue collar residential neighborhood and doesn’t look like much from the outside except for its classic green awning with a cool retro “The Cedars” logo on it. That’s it. Very easy to miss, but very hard to forget. Few places like this can be found with both outstanding food and staff that makes it your home the whole time you’re there. I live six hours away and I make it a must to visit here every time I’m in town. The Cedars has been around since 1948 and I can see why. They have a giant menu for a place so small. Staff so greatly proud of where they work. Impeccable ethnic food like chicken and lamb dishes, stuffed grape leaves, and kibbutz with Middle Eastern flair inside of this no-frills small place. I LOVE IT.

Top notch! Bartender/waitress was outstanding! Lamb on the rod was delicious. Beer was cold. Love the Cedars. They’re the best.

They get busy, so order ahead early. We had garlic loaded fries, fried zucchini, popcorn shrimp, fish dinners, and their ravioli. Everything was delicious, and their fried food wasn’t greasy. I would’ve preferred the ravioli sauce to be a little thicker for more flavor, but other than that, the service and food were excellent.

The food was amazing, service was great. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it took a long time to get the food

My wife liked her lamb,my steak salad was the best I have had, service was good They were busy. Took off a star because my wife couldn’t get wine while I got beer. Stupid Pa liquor laws. Took of another star as we had to keep chasing flies off our food, and the place was very loud.
