Wonderful. This place is a must!! Not busy on a Wednesday morning. Ordered two egg sandwiches adding bacon to both, one on English muffin and one on croissant. Sandwiches perfectly made. London Fog with one pump lavender, finely a cup of tea that is HOT not luke warm. Could not really taste the lavender but still good. Lady taking order acted as though she had never done anything like this and it was crazy. Daughter got ice vanilla latte with cold foam on top. She said it’s the best she’s had in town as of now. As I was walking around the counter lady said can I help you with something. It was slightly off putting like I could not look around at everything. Maybe she thought I was lost?. Women who called our order and handed it to us was very pleasant. Definitely spot in here for a yummy start to your day.

Incredible vibes. I personally need to be in a cute space to do work and Cedarhurst fill the bill. Tons of natural sunlight and local art. Mix of high tops, low-tops, window facing and center tables. Comfortable chairs. I think it was designed perfectly. There was music and other people working but it was peaceful enough to focus easily. I got a tea latte and a smoothie, both were just ok. Low, fair prices. Wifi and bathrooms for customers. They have tea/coffee mugs! (I hate to go cups)

This has to be the most underrated coffee shop in New Haven. Food and coffee is great and taste like a home cooked meal. My boyfriend claims this is the best bacon egg and cheese sandwich he’s had. Super sweet people and just all around a great place for breakfast/lunch etc.

Greatly overpriced food and drinks. You’ll pay about $40 here for two coffees and breakfast sandwiches, which is often brought out by a server who seems like she can’t be bother and is doing you a favor by bringing out the food you pay for.

I used to love this place, but the huge price increases just made it an unpleasant experience when I could pay much less elsewhere and feel much more welcomed.

Cute little cafe in the heart of downtown, not too far from Union Station. I was greeted warmly and really enjoyed the ambiance. Great coffee and chai latte, and the muffin was excellent as well.

Such a great cafe right in downtown New Haven! Some of my favorite coffee and lots of space that still feels cozy. I’d recommend the chicken caesar salad and an iced latte (with an extra doubleshot if you need the extra kick!) Staff is always incredibly friendly which adds to the nice atmosphere.

This is a great place to work and a less crowded option then further downtown if you hit it at the right time of day. From yoga balls, to a long bar, plush comfy chairs, and plenty of tables and seating options available. Also of note: plugs for computers/phones. Appropriate for a client meeting, a casual date, or some quiet reading.

The food options are healthy and tasty. The smoothies and juices are also of high quality and worth every penny.

Hard working, thoughtful and cheerful people own and work at this place and you feel welcome when you walk in. Don’t forget to leave a note on their community chalkboard before you leave!

Must try Blueberry muffin! Everything is wonderfully fresh & lots of vegetarian options, some GF as well.

Great shop with neat seating options, including exercise ball chairs & table top booths (power outlets)

Parking – both street parking (metered) or State Street Garage around the corner

Given the reviews and the hype our visit was a disappointment. Service was slow although the server did apologise. Acia bowl looked nothing like the pictures and the avocado toast was soggy with what appeared to be lime juice. Asked for bacon to be added but this never arrived and had to ask for the muffin we ordered after waiting for 40 minutes. Reviewed as average is being generous
