Hidden Gem in Cedar Mountain!
Our family decided to try Cedar Mountain Café last night, and we’re so glad we did! The dining room is quaint and cozy—nothing fancy, but comfortable and welcoming. We were greeted right away by a friendly staff and seated immediately.
Our very friendly and sweet waitress, Marion, was quick to take our drink order and had everything out in no time. We were pleasantly surprised by how fast the food came out after we ordered.
As we always do, we said a blessing over our meal—and then dove into what turned out to be an absolutely incredible dinner. I had the Chicken Parmesan, and I can honestly say it was some of the best I’ve ever had. My wife’s blackened shrimp salad was fresh and flavorful, and my sons ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and Fish & Chips—both were outstanding.
There wasn’t a single bite left by the end of the meal! Everything was just that good.
Thank you again, Marion, for a wonderful dining experience!
We’ll definitely be coming back to Cedar Mountain Café every time we’re in the area—for the great service and amazing food!

Great spot! Service was fast and staff was very friendly. I got a burger and fries and a side of ranch and the ranch was hands down the best I’ve ever had! It’s different but in a good way! Food came out quick and hot. Overall great experience.

I cannot even express how good this experience was. My boyfriend and I went on Valentine’s Day right after visiting the Fred W. Symmes chapel and were greeted with the friendliness staff I’ve ever experienced. They were all so festive and really helped spread the love in the air. The food was breath taking—we were silent the entire time eating if that tells you anything! You could tell that everything down to the chocolate milk was made from scratch. They even made a heart biscuit to help us celebrate Valentine’s Day. It is such a comfortable, warm, and inviting environment. We haven’t stopped raving about it since we left. If we could have picked the restaurant up and brought it home with us we would have! We will definitely be coming back. Amazing job. Absolutely no complaints. This is how you run a restaurant!!!! The owner should be proud of all of their staff. You can tell they take hospitality seriously and want to assure that guest have a great experience.

Wow. Beyond impressed with the quality here. Right down to the tap water everything was delicious! I was able to enjoy my coffee the way I like (heavy cream and stevia) which is rare for dining out. The best biscuits and gravy I’ve had almost ever besides my own. Haha. Super fast. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Loved the play list, the ambiance. I can’t go on wnohhh.

Ms Debbie the owner and Kenna/Cole our servers took such great care of us. All the food is inspired by her experiences and made with love. She accommodated my family of 8 for 3 visits in 2 days. Even held a table on Sunday morning in anticipation of us arriving. You can’t go to Cedar Mountain without coming here. Highly recommended!

After a long morning of hiking, we were starving and so glad we found this place! It’s a very small and cute diner and as soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by a very friendly staff and were seated right away. The first thing that caught my attention was their wide variety of food for being such a small place. I asked the waitress about their chicken salad sandwich and she was overly excited about how good it was so I had to give it a try. Perfect combination of mayonnaise and seasoning but they threw a little something different with some sweet chopped onions and it was phenomenal! I had never had chicken salad with onions but it really brought the sandwich together with their garden fresh tomatoes and just the right amount of lettuce. I paired it with their potato salad and wow it was great! My wife ordered the fried buffalo chicken and it was a massive pounded out chicken breast golden fried with a very good buffalo sauce on it. She had the sweet potato fries and they were thick and hand cut. My kids ordered burgers who both finished every bit and said they were really good. If you are near Dupont State Park and hungry you really have to stop by. We want to go back because they have so many items to choose from and everything looked great!

This place was SOOOO GOOD for breakfast!!! We tried so many different dishes and specials – all of them amazing. It’s the cutest place with a great patio when it’s warmer outside as well. It is locally owned, and we can’t wait to return. Everyone was so nice and welcoming!!

We were staying near the state forest with zero phone signal, just googled a random place to eat without expecting much… but wow, this spot totally surprised us! I got the chicken salad sandwich and it was honestly so good—fresh, tasty, and just hit the spot. My husband got something else (I forgot what it was, oops), but he really liked his too. Super friendly staff and cozy little place. Definitely recommend if you’re nearby!
