A great American restaurant. No frills, no nonsense, just good food at a fair price served by a highly attentive staff.
We enjoy breakfast at the breakfast bar often. The local regulars are a great group of guys. I love that their breakfasts are straightforward classics. They’re not reinventing the wheel. They’re just throwing down the classics.
It’s clear ownership is present and overseeing things; keeping them running smoothly.
Best of all, you feel like your business is truly appreciated.
If you’ve never been and live in the area or just moved to the area, you have to give them a try.

So the food was great, especially the Hashbrowns, they were cooked exactly the way I like them. But two out of the three eggs that I ordered, over easy, had broken yokes already. Sorry, but You can’t send them out like this. I’ll try them again and see what happens.

Cedar Lake Kitchen is a nice little spot to grab a relaxed bite to eat. I don’t normally go if they are busy, so I can’t comment on how things are during those times. But, if it’s slow, it’s a very nice place to go.

$40 for breakfast for 2 people is crazy. The lady that sat us had to “beat up the furniture” at our table. No one sat in that chair as it looked like it was ready to collapse. The table next to us was placed directly in font of a fire exit. Blocking any chance of escaping in an emergency. About the food. Pancakes and hash browns were good. The bacon and sausage are awful. I started feeling sick before I was even done eating. Both my husband and I had to run to bathroom (we almost didn’t make it home). Our server was kind and attentive. Needless to say we will never be back!

All American Independent restaurant. Reasonable prices good service. The food is. Tasty. It’s been around 20 plus years. I would have given it an additional star. But the waitress was coughing on her hands not washing them and continuing to serve food

This is the local diner breakfast gathering place. Lunch too I assume. I meet friends here for breakfast at times. The food is good, fair priced and the staff is friendly.

The one improvement would be to upgrade their coffee quality. But the food was good…

Lightest, fluffiest, tastiest pancakes ever! It is so deceiving how they can be so light that I only put a little syrup on my top pancake and it made all the way to the bottom pancake, which I soon found out I could have skipped it all together. These were so delicious they didn’t need syrup. I would have eaten them cold. ( if I had leftovers ) Too bad they aren’t totally carb free or calorie free or waist line free. Maybe, just maybe since they are so light they will not impact my waist line?! I going to run with that idea. So I also had a side of crispy bacon which they didn’t fail at either. It was perfect. I struggled with my decision about the omelette, but I went with the California (I think that is what it was called). It had bacon, guacamole, tomatoes, onion and cheese. My concern was that the I wouldn’t like the guacamole because I am very particular (not that anyone would have guessed). Anyway, it could make or break the whole meal. I am in shock and awe to say BRAVO, they knocked it out of the park. I like to spice it up, so I shook a little tapito on it. I left that place without a leftover box feeling fat and sassy

I’ve been there twice and it has been nothing short of great. The catfish was flavorful, flaky, and fried to perfection. The service is phenomenal. Our group just loves this place. I highly recommend the chilli. Also come hungry
