It’s a very friendly and fighting atmosphere. The food is awesome. Home-cooked meals. My daughter had chicken fried steak and I had the ultimate Skillet and both were on the daily special today. There was so much food. People could ate off of my Skillet. Which goes to say the portion sizes are quite large and very good. Prime rib on Friday night and barbecued ribs on rib night. Needless to say, stopping there to have a meal will not be disappointing.

Went for dinner on a weekend. It was busy, but we were seated quickly. The menu has a lot. I ordered mixed apps, pancakes, waffles, and strawberry milk shakes. The apps were good. The marinara sauce was bland. The milk shakes were great. The pancakes and waffles were also good. Will return.

Went out to eat here last Sunday with a group of friends and was extremely disappointed! The service was absolutely awful! The waitress was rude and obnoxious! She even had the audacity to tell another coworker in front of us that she didn’t have time for our table or to get us cream for our coffee because she had other customers with food up waiting to be served! She then actually tried to walk off without even taking everyone’s orders at the table! We had to request assistance for further questions and services from other staff members and when she did come back to the table more negative attitude and body language! Our table at that time was her priority and she completely lost all my respect and made the meal time awkward and uncomfortable sadly! If you don’t want to answer questions about your menu, take all the orders of the guests at your table and fulfill their needs then you shouldn’t be working with the public as a server! Top it off her shirt she was wearing was highly inappropriate and offensive for the place of employment! Should have been sent home to change it or turned inside out! It’s not our fault the restaurant was busy all we ask is you do the job your being paid for. That’s not too much to ask for!

I’m probably in the minority, but this place was recommended by several people, so I finally tried it. My omelet was good. The pancakes were not light and fluffy and were difficult to cut…. weird. The hash browns were cooked too order. The service was unfriendly and she never checked back or brought my bill. It wasn’t that busy….I was in there for late lunch. The art on the wall is cool. Overall, dissatisfied. It’s just ok.

This is on our regular rotation of Friday dinners! I wish we had went sooner. The staff is always friendly, attentive, food is awesome and you cannot beat their prices. BEST fried chicken in the Cedar Valley!!

OMG! Love this place, remember that home cooking and the love you got with every meal! This place will take u right back home to mom! Prime rib is phenomenal skillets are more than u can eat and always leave with something. I miss places like this. Thanks to you cedar falls Cafe and your staff keep it up u rock! Hats off to the chef(s).

The only thing good about this place is the service. It was great. My waitress was very nice and attentive. The woman ringing me up have me a discount. Now to why I still have it 1 star. I was brought a cup of coffee. There was something orange crusted to it right where I about put my mouth. I wrote it off as one of those things that just happens sometimes. Then I went to the bathroom… I stood in front of the urinal and noticed the wall in front of me was bubbling out from water damage. Then I looked around and noticed it was all over the bathroom. There was also mold by the urinal and sink. I sat down and ate my sides, decent. More than likely from a distributor. Then my steak came. I ordered it medium rare and it was definitely well done. Cutting it was a chore as was chewing it. The warriors asked if I wanted to send it back but I don’t believe in wasting food so I ate it… Then I took a drink of coffee. There was dark brown stuff stuck to the INSIDE of the cup. I have never left a restaurant feeling like I needed antibiotics until today.

Older Family Diner type vibes. Everything is clean and they have tons of options. Doesn’t matter if its packed or there are only a few people in there you always get your food quickly. Awesome place!
