What a great gem we happened to find!!! Sandy is a one-woman show here in the off-season and was incredible even with a full house. Delicious home cooking and we met some great people!

Best Fried Catfish in the area on Fridays. Don’t wait til the end of the night or you’ll miss out. Absolute favorite fish fry. Be aware that it is Grab and Go and not a sit down restaurant. Try the boozy coffee in the morning…you’re on vacation. Live a little. 😉

We discovered this place when we were camping near by. It quickly became our go to spot to eat when we didn’t feel like cooking. The food is excellent, big portions, and Barb and Sandy, the owners, are very friendly. They always make you feel welcome. Just today, we drove over 50 miles in the middle of winter to come for breakfast.

I thought that the staff was very friendly and very attentive. Another reviewer had said that their food took some time to be served and I agree with that, but we were not in a hurry so I barely noticed.
Also the food was fantastic, seriously one of the best omelets I have ever had. So I am more forgiving for the timing as well.
So if you are in a hurry, maybe this isn’t the stop for you. But if you are looking for fantastic food and want to support people that care, this is the place to go.
