Since for many years I lived close to this restaurant, it became increasingly important to me & my family. Cecil Whittaker’s is sort of a “south city classic” although they have several locations in different areas. What they deliver is a fairly wide & large menu of American favorites done nicely. Honestly, I’ve never had anything from them that wasn’t done nicely and up to standard. The lunch special is a favorite. The delivery drivers have also always been prompt and polite. If ordering carryout, 20/25 minutes is what you’ll always hear, and they don’t lie! Eating there is also pleasant & video games make it fun for kids. All in all, if you’re looking for Pan Asian fusion or similar, not here, but I dare you not to appreciate and enjoy Cecils.

Normally I would give them 5 stars.Went in tonight at 9 they closed seating area at 9. No problem ordered my food to go. I’m very disappointed with my boneless wings.dry as can be they barley put sauce in bottom then threw chicken on top I had enough sauce to coat 1 piece of chicken.

I ordered a barbecue chicken, pizza, lunch special and a chicken wing lunch special I order delivery when I receive my pizza it was burnt dry. The crust was so crunchy and hard you could barely chew it. I didn’t called back and they sent out a new pizza which was also burnt not to mention the wings were dry and overcooked I had ordered from this place many times, and never had a problem. I refuse to call back at that point I just gave up

When a pizza place is so close and convenient you often forget to let others know how good it is! We have been a patron since they opened and have NEVER had a bad experience! Dine in, carry out or delivery, every time they pull through! Perfect St. Louis style pizzas. Salads are also very good. Love their Zucchini sticks! We are so spoiled and lucky to have this place in our neighborhood!

Manicotti was delicious as was the toasted ravioli and buffalo chicken cheese bread. The waitress was super polite and attentive. I even won two stuffies for my children from the claw machine! Pictures of stuffies because I ate the food. 10/10 would dine here again!

Conveniently, can’t find the credit that they already owe me for messing up my order before. The girl quoted me a time and then when I called back after my order should’ve been here she told me when she got off the phone with me. The time changed. The time change should’ve had nothing to do with me when I already placed my order.
