Outside seating area was great, staff were friendly but food was horrible. No Mexican flavors at all, lack of salt usage, much flavors needed for sure. Overuse of white queso sauce in everything. Taco Bell has more flavor than this place. If you’re looking for a true Mexican dish, this is not the place.

Visiting from NJ, had to try their birria tacos and they didn’t disappoint!!! The consomme was perfect (not too thin/thick, perfect consistency)! The guac was so good! Service was excellent as well. Might have to stop by again before I head back home

Not sure how any so called ‘local guide’ can rate this above a 1 star review. They obviously have never tasted good authentic Mexican cuisine. This is far from it and one review stated Taco Bell had more flavor and they were correct. Three out of four dishes served were lacking any taste or seasoning whatsoever and were all cold. To call this authentic Mexican food is a disgrace at best. Same old soupy tasteless beans, dry rice with no flavor and fajitas served on a cold iron plate that made it even colder when served. Fajitas had absolutely no taste at all and were the worse we have even been served. The front door was being kept open by patrons coming in and chatting with the hostess and the wind just whipped through the restaurant unabated. We literally froze for over an hour. This place is the atypical, so called Mexican restaurant that serves the same thing, in a different setting, but most all suffer from the same problems. Nice location in downtown Middleburg but that’s about it. Don’t waste your money or the calories on this restaurant.

What a great place! We had Mexican before but never had anything like this. It was out of this world. Everything tasted fantastic. It was bursting with so many different flavors. The salsa and chip was the best we’ve ever had. We even asked if we can buy the salsa. The owner was so kind and wonderful. She said that they make the salsa, chips and everything they can from the fresh every day!

We came to CDMX Mexican Bar & Grill for a special night out and had an amazing experience. The restaurant is small and intimate, the service was outstanding, and we were blown away by the food. None of us were expecting to get great Mexican food in Middleburg, Virginia. Wow! It was fantastic. Highly recommend it here.

We loved the chicken burrito and the pork dish, they were perfectly seasoned. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Loved the atmosphere. There is an accessible entrance on the side. The bathroom was clean but small. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

Let me start off by saying if it was possible to give negative stars this restaurant would have negative 10 star!!! The waiter seemed to not be able to handle outside seated guest and inside duties. It took her extremely long times to just out drinks. Every drink we asked about she would say umm I think we can make a Shirley Temple, I think we have sweet tea… I asked for no onion in my food and my first bite had onions in it. I wanted to be sure so I broke the chimichanga in half to see what’s inside and there was more onions. I informed the waiter and told her no need to remake as my wife and nephew food was incorrect at this time and I became extremely disappointed with this restaurant. When the waiter/ server finally came to our table I asked for the manager. The manager comes with the rude attitude and very disrespectfully neglected my concerns. She goes on about how she wasted 3 plates because of my family and how she shouldn’t do anything. I am allergic to onions, my wife asked for ground beef and she had steak with her food along with my nephew. Within manager/ owner conversation with my wife and I she then decided to tell me I don’t have any red bumps or fever so nothing is wrong with me. My wife politely tells her as an owner and manager her behaviour is unacceptable and let us pay and leave. I would never come here again. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
