Good food -it’s all made to order, so be patient. The empanadas are deep fried, so if you’re looking for baked ones, this isn’t it. Plenty of options and the people are very friendly. A VERY limited seating area – high tables with stools, and although it’s handicap accessible, you might struggle to have a wheelchair in the place if it’s crowded. But don’t let that deter you – get it to go if needed. They also have picnic style tables outside. Finally if you’re looking at the counter – the right side of the dining area is cooler (temp) than the left. Enjoy.

This place is amazing! If you haven’t had an authentic empanada before, please give this spot a try. Everything is freshly fried, the fillings are always perfectly seasoned and flavorful – I highly recommend the shredded beef. They also have arepas and pepitos I haven’t had a chance to try, but I’m sure they’re equally excellent!

Came here for an early lunch on a Saturday and it was fairly busy, which was a good sign in our book! We ordered 3 empanadas: beef&plaintain, lentils, and goetta and an arepa pobellon which had shredded beef, black beans, cheese, and sweet plantain.
It is a small space inside with a moderate amount of seating, along with large picnic tables outside which we opted for since the weather was nice.
Our food was made to order and came out fresh and piping hot. We’re used to smaller sized empanadas and arepas, so we were pleasantly surprised to see they were pretty sizable! We ended up with leftovers.
Each empanada is pressed with a number that corresponds with the menu, so you know which one is which before you dig in.
Since we ordered in, they also gave us bottles of sauces: a hot sauce, an herb garlic sauce, and mayo-ketchup fry sauce. The hot sauce wasn’t too spicy but added a nice kick, my boyfriend and I agreed that the garlic herb sauce was our favorite one with what we had.
Already thinking about my next order, definitely check this place out if you’re looking for something new to try!

This place is amazing! Heiner is great and the staff here are always friendly. Price & portions are aligned well IMHO. It’s a perfect lunch option for me. They have a spot at the Covington Yard as well. My personal fave is Pabellon

This place has an extensive menu of arepas and empanadas, and plenty of interesting options to go around. I had one of each one night: the seafood empanada was larger than expected. They’re definitely a great value for the price. It was well-stuffed with pretty good flavors, though a touch salty, but the dipping sauce was amazing and balanced it out well. The crust was perfection! It doesn’t get much better than that. The sifrina arepa was fully-loaded, had delicious flavors in that chicken salad, and a perfect texture on the arepa. This place is top-notch!.. 10 out of 10 would recommend it. There’s a little bit of seating inside and outside if you don’t get carryout.

Best arepas and empanadas in town! They blow the other spots out of the water. The food was great. We tried the cordon blue empanada, plantain and cheese, and ground beef. All were so flavorful and fresh. The cowboy arepa with the fried cheese and steak was out of this world. We also got the pabellon and pork leg arepas. It was amazing! Don’t miss their drinks either. The guanabana and limeade drinks were so good.

We took a trip up to Loveland to a newer place for empanadas. They definitely did not disappoint. We shared four different ones pabellon (plantain, black beans cheese & beef), chicken, pulled pork and shredded beef. Also tried Papelon c/Limon a refreshing Venezuelan drink.
