Food was excellent. The long stem artichokes with the lemon aioli were delicious! The char and the lemon really paired well. The truffle mushroom pizza was one of the best mushroom pizzas we have had in a long time. The balance of the truffle and mushroom made is super umami and the pesto brought it all in balance to give it depth.
The drink/ beer / wine selection was good. The blood orange margaritas were okay, not great. They were bit skimpy, and on low on alcohol for a small drink. Watched as they poured wine and poora were pretty skimpy too. Stick to beer as you will get beat bang for the buck. Still really enjoyed the meal. Really great.
Service was fine, but a bit chaotic, though to be fair they were pretty busy. Kinda your classic bar but with a modern eclectic kitchen.
Would absolutely go back to try other dishes!!

We stopped at C&C Wood Fire Eats in Key Largo on our way down to Key West and it was a great dinner stop during a busy time. There was about a 15-minute wait, but we were seated quickly with a table for four. The staff really stood out — incredibly kind, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients, which made ordering easy.

We ordered two vegan pizzas (an off-menu option) along with the lasagna and the Venice pizza. Everyone enjoyed their food, and it was especially appreciated that the kitchen was willing and able to accommodate vegan diners even though there aren’t dedicated vegan items listed on the menu. The wood-fired oven gave the crust great texture and flavor. The vegan pizza was a bit oily, likely due to the vegan cheese used, and had a softer structure, but it was still satisfying and flavorful. The non-vegan dishes were a hit with the rest of the table.

The restaurant was clean, well kept, and welcoming. A solid stop with friendly service, flexibility for different diets, and good wood-fired pizza — especially appreciated when traveling with a mixed group.

Visited here once during our Key Largo dive trip. I’m usually somewhat skeptical of the food at tourist locations but was pleasantly surprised by the food and the service here. The pizza was excellent, some of the best I’ve had and the price prices were quite reasonable even for a tourist spot. Unfortunately I can’t remember our server’s name but she was from Cuba and was super friendly, helpful and engaging. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for pizza in Key Largo.

Great pizza spot in Key Largo that was recommended to us.
I got the Venice pizza with a sparkling bourbon. Both were great. The crust is thin and quite delicious. Not too soft or chewy, has a good bite to it. Parking is around the back and might be hard to find a spot if it’s a busy night. We went on a Friday night around 9pm and were able to get seated right away at the bar. It was busy so it was pretty loud inside. Staff is fun and friendly.

I should have followed my gut and left. Our party of nine, which included two elderly individuals and one person with a disability, waited 45 minutes only to be seated at a high-top table with backless stools. When we asked to swap for chairs with backs as they became available, we were sternly told no, and pressured to “figure it out quickly” because of other waiting guests. The lack of basic empathy or accommodation for disabled and elderly guests was unprofessional and rude.

The atmosphere was also a major letdown. To top it off, the walls are covered in “art” of sparsely clothed women that felt completely out of place and revolting. It’s too loud to talk and too dark to see.

As for the food, it did not live up to the hype. Our food while seemed fresh they were incredibly bland. The ricotta meatballs lacked flavor,(although, incredibly creamy) and the pizzas resembled tortillas more than actual crust. They also lack standard toppings like bacon or pineapple and don’t provide straws or tea. It seems the high ratings might be more about the extensive wine list than the actual kitchen quality. Perhaps the alcohol masks the lack of flavor? I really wanted to like this restaurant, but no I won’t be coming again.

Locals told us about this place. Happy Hour starts at 4 and they mean it! Better be there 10 minutes early. We were and still 15 people deep waiting to get in. $10 pitcher and a cheese pizza combo, heck yeah!
Limited parking and probably only holds 100 people inside. It was cold when we visited so inside dining was key!

We went to Happy Hour yesterday to C & C Wood Fire Eats because the reviews were excellent. We were so surprised when we walked in on how packed the place was. We sat down and within 15 minutes we had our beer and a hot pizza. The wait staff was so friendly and quick. We will definitely go there again.

We had a great experience at this C&C location! We ordered a vegan pizza without cheese (though they do offer vegan cheese — we just chose to skip it), and it was absolutely delicious. It’s so nice that they’re able to adapt their dishes to make them fully vegan — really thoughtful and accommodating.
Our server, Laura, was amazing — super friendly, helpful, and made sure everything was just right for us. We really appreciated her attentiveness and positive attitude.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and excellent service, especially if you’re vegan or have dietary preferences!

Just a couple of blocks inland from the ocean, C & C Wood Fire Restaurant in Key Largo is a hidden gem for indoor/outdoor dining! We loved our cozy patio spot with a gentle island breeze while digging into some of the best Italian food ever.

The wood-fired pizza was crispy, smoky, and topped with extra mozzarella, fresh basil, roasted mushrooms, and arugula — seriously, one of the tastiest pies we’ve ever had. The homemade meatballs appetizer in family recipe marinara were so good, we ordered seconds, and the Caprese salad was fresh and beautifully presented.

Our server, Laura, was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyed her job — she made the whole experience even better.

All the rave reviews about this place are totally justified — it’s a relaxed, flavorful, fun spot we highly recommend!

We wanted a change of pace… so why not pizza! Not just any pizza but brick oven pizza! Lauren was our server tonight and she was awesome! So friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with a Caesar Salad – their dressing is very good as well as the homemade croutons (every restaurant should have, because every restaurant has bread). The we tried with the pepperoni chips, I loved them! They are like the super crispy part of bacon- which is the best by the way no argument. This sounds strange but I would love a dill dip for these. I had a pickle pizza once and it forever change my mind on mixing odd combinations because it worked so deliciously! For our pizzas we ordered the 1889 and the Meatball Ricotta, I love Ricotta I wish more pizzas offered large heaps of ricotta! 1889 was good, not the best margarita pizza I’ve ever had but it was tasty! The Meatball and Ricotta pizza I LOVED! Big heaps of ricotta, maybe next time I’ll just get a ricotta pizza. We took half of each home. Lauren packed it up for us neatly. We also took home their chocolate brownier and gelato, as well as their special which was apple bread pudding with caramel gelato. Both exceptional! I loved the undertones of citrus in the bread pudding. Overall it’s was really delicious and the crust tasted simple. Simple isn’t a bad thing, it didn’t have all the extra ingredients others add it was back to the basic and what makes a pizza so delicious!
