I am writing this post primarily to tell you what an asset Aubrey is to the CBQ. I had a gift card to use at the resort. She was having trouble getting it to process. She went the extra mile to get it to go thru. She asked for assistance from her peers, but know one seemed to be familiar with the process. She was finally able to get help from Ty, who is a hotel manager there. Ty, came over to the CBQ, and was able to process it. Thank you Ty. I give Aubrey a 10 star rating, for the way she conducted herself with the issue. She is very pleasant, great attitude, and a problem solver. Thank you, Aubrey!
The reason for the 2 Star rating on the food, was my friend and I ordered the baby back ribs, which were very dry and not much taste to them. Would not order them again. Very disappointing to those of us who live here and frequent the restaurants in the beach. Would not recommend to others to eat there.

We had the brisket sandwiches with Mac n cheese & coleslaw. The brisket was the most tender brisket I have ever had. The sides were great too! Six different BBQ sauces to choose from the mustard BBQ & honey BBQ were our favorite! Cashier takes your order she was super friendly & the restaurant is really well designed. Happy to have a great place for BBQ in Chesapeake Beach!

Kaitlyn the bartender is the only reason we come in, she’d the best an sometimes we get wings but its all about the slot machines here. Nothing is about fishing or fisherman or boating or restaurant atmosphere. The place has become consumed by gambling.

People were nice, ordered a cheese burger and coleslaw. Coleslaw was good, but I had to it eat with the container lid. The burger was the worst I’ve ever had. Meat was too thick to cook without burning it ! 20 bucks down the drain. I’ll be coming here for work and know i won’t order a burger.

I’m writing this review with the belief that nothing will change after reading all the other reviews. 5 empty tables all were dirty and or still had trash on them. Wasn’t that busy that someone could not have had time to to clean. Ask the cashier if someone could clean our table she said she would , I had to go ask 2 more time and she was not happy. It took 31 minutes to get food and I had to go ask for it . Seeing all the same complaints on reviews, we were first time customers and we will never go back. A 3.5 rating is very poor I believe this falls on the back of management, will not recommend this place to anyone. VERY UNHAPPY COSTUMER !!!!!

Place was very clean and well maintained. I know it’s fairly new but a fact is a fact. Got pulled pork sandwiches , cucumber salad and collard greens. Pulled pork tasted good BBQ sauces were great. Very friendly and fast service. Have been there quite often it appears that they now put less pork on the pulled pork sandwich. Still think food is great. If you’re hungry get two sandwiches.

The food was merely adequate, the staff in attentive and the tables dirty. They aspire to be a good barbecue restaurant but fail in the most basic areas. I had the Pit Mix, which consisted of a choice of two meats but they limit your choices to brisket, kielbasa, or chicken. I got brisket and kielbasa. The brisket was served well done and the kielbasa was overcooked which caused the outer skin to be difficult to cut with the flimsy plastic utensils. For sides they have limited options – collard greens, baked beans, coleslaw, Mac & cheese, all in small 3/4 cup servings. It was expensive. For my wife and me, it was $51.

The woman at the desk was nice but the tables were dirty and I got the deviled eggs with pit beef and it was all cold. Wasn’t pleasant tasting. Other than that, it was okay. My boyfriend got the brisket and it was cold and he said tough as well. Please make things better for everyone and espthe locals. This is not a good look for Chesapeake beach.

Very dry brisket, very strange smoke flavored kielbasa almost like liquid smoke poured on it. Mac and cheese-good. Bland greens. There were dirty tables and window sills have so much dust buildup, yet workers just standing around. Not recommended.

The location and atmosphere were fine. The food that I had was small in portion and not good. The pulled pork had zero taste to it. Nothing was in it. The greens were not good and in the smallest container I ever seen. It was in a condiment cup. I understand business and the need for portion control in these times but the greens were at a new level.
