This place was okay. It wasn’t bad, but not really great either … just okay. Friendly atmosphere. Red and green chile were pretty mild. I was really surprised to be charged $1.50 for a side of green that was a really small container (I took a picture) filled maybe halfway. The burrito didn’t have that much red, either. The chips were good. Nachos do not use shredded cheese and I don’t think there was cheese in my burrito, either.

The waitress was super nice and attentive. That is the only good thing to come out of my time there. We ordered Chile con Queso, it wasn’t even warm. It looked like mustard that had been sitting there for awhile. I ordered the ny steak and shrimp. I sure as hell did not receive a NY. It was so thin that it could fit between the slots on my fork. I asked for it to be cooked medium. One side looked okay and the burnt side was faced down on my plate. The rice was watery and my salad had black pieces throughout and a mushy chip underneath it all. My shrimp was extremely over cooked. My Fiancès enchiladas was just a giant gloop of mush. My $9 margarita had no liquor in it what so ever. His margarita had maybe a teensy tiny bit of liquor in it. His dr pepper tasted like it didn’t have any dr. Pepper syrup in it. What a waste of $70.

Went here for my birthday, with my parents, daughter, and husband. Not even a Happy Birthday was said by anyone. The noise level was high. We were sat at a table for 4 when we had fice. Very cramped. We moved ourselves to a biger table. The food was at best, less then okay. The rice was mushy and tasted like lime was used. The salsa was liquid. The chimichanga was not fried enough, and the chicken in it was dry. The waiter was friendly, but super busy and not very attentive to drinks needing refilled. When checking out, because we were a party of 5, they automatically tacked on a 25% gratuity, which would have been fine if the food was decent. We will nit return for a 2nd try. Was not as we expected. Should have taken others reviews into consideration but figured we would give them a try.

We love going to new places, so today we visited Cazuelas Mexican Grill & Brewery in Rio Rancho New Mexico. The atmosphere was an infusion of a mexican restaurant and sportsbar, but the environment was welcoming. Their salsa I had a little too much garlic, but it was still good. I recommend not eating the salsa if you don’t like cilantro. The red chile was hot, their brewery beer tasty(personally I recommend the Amber) and their ‘Tower’ Enchilada Plate was #delicious! Overall they gained two new customers.

I am considered a regular with the same booth every time I go. They offer authentic brewery options but not many commercial bottles or canned beers such as Budweiser or Dos Xx. The enchiladas are good, rice is not too good, and once I got a piece of plastic in my salad. Either way I’ll keep coming back, the server can be very nice sometimes.

Service was amazing! Was my first time here and I needed a bit more help with my experience but I liked the friendliness so much I had to go with 5 stars. Service was quick! I’ve never been so satisfied with service in a long time. The food was awesome I had the taco plate. Everything tasted great! Definitely recommend this place to family and friends. I’ll be coming by again for sure!

My family and i decided to have Sunday brunch here yesterday. We were seated right away and made our selections. I had the beef chimichanga platter with beans and rice, and my mom had the huevos rancheros. It was VERY good!! Our table of four was very satisfied with our brunch selections! We will be coming back on our next trip to try out some of the local brew favorites!

Food was good, but the service isn’t. We can see that the staff act like we are a bother. It wasn’t inviting at all. The food isn’t that good for the staff to act that way.

I used to love this place. Not so much this time. The taco’s were like mush and my beans and rice had some kinda metal thing in it that I almost swallowed. I told the waitress about it and she did say and that it was part of the scrubber that they use for the dishes. I couldn’t finish my beans and rice and those were actually very good after that and she didn’t even bother to take it off the tab. Very disappointed!
