Have eaten here several times since living in Alex City. In 2023 it was great and we considered it the best around but over the past year or so it has slipped a lot. From the noticeable smell of rotting food in the dumpster as you walk through the parking lot, to the cold “Debbie Dip” and lukewarm entrees we received. As far as taste, they tasted decent at best – but you expect your food to be warm, right? Unfortunately we decided we probably won’t go back for those reasons and sanitary concerns we had. This review is not intended to hurt anyone or the business but maybe it will open some eyes around there to some issues. On the plus side, the Modelo was ice cold and hit the spot.

Wonderful, laid back, and great food. The servers are always fantastic – every time I’ve been here. The food is seasoned well; my guy got a burrito with steak and it was absolutely phenomenal and cooked well. The combos don’t ever disappoint. Also, MARGARITAS. And I don’t mean syrup and mix. They actually make fantastic drinks. I wish I’d gotten our server’s name — she was pretty young but she was so good at her job and incredibly attentive. Thank you guys! We will be back any time we are in Alexander City!

Nice little Mexican restaurant, really good size menu. The food we tried was delicious. I was hoping for a little more heat from the home made hot sauce but we did enjoy everything. Staff was very friendly, but service could have been a little better. We will be back.

I so happen to go on 5 cinco de Mayo. The place was packed there was plenty of parking and the line was moving super fast. The wait was short and my food was on the table fast. Plus it was tasty. On a regular day no wait and service is awesome. You should try it. ✔️
