The food taste was very average. The Mexican rice was not as flavorful as I thought it would be. We had cava nachos and chicken chimichanga. Both are decent but not great. The portion sizes seemed very less for the price charged. Mexican restaurants portion sizes are generally huge but this was missing at this place. Good for trying once, there are still better Mexican options around the place which I would prefer over this

Cava Azul is a great stop for Mexican food a little different than the typical place. Their menu has a few more interesting options. Being able to pick your sides with entrees is nice. We particularly enjoy the trio dip and chips, and the mula Mexicana was refreshing and delicious. They also have an expansive brunch menu on the weekend, but haven’t ordered off of that. The service is quick and friendly.

We dropped by for lunch, this place was recommended by friends.
We sat on a table outside which was baby and pet friendly. I had the asada and eggs with potatoes from the brunch menu. It’s a thin steak, it was good, though I would have like a bit more meat. We also had the steak fajitas; tasty as well, but I would have liked a bit more steak.
It’s nice that they bring cute water cups and straws for toddlers and coloring pencils and paper.
Service was great and there is parking right outside.

Absolutely loved the vibe here! The staff was super friendly, and everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor. We had the bacon-wrapped jalapeños, a burrito, and the avocado chicken salad—everything was delicious, but that seasoning on the chicken? So good. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Artwork and sculptures were eye catching and pleasing. Staff were friendly and helpful. I tried a Cadillac margarita and an Ultimate margarita, both were good just not very strong. Started with Diablo wings which were good, tad over cooked and not very spicy. Niece tried the shrimp ceviche and was not happy, I agreed it was bland. Sister got a birria taco and said that was good. I ordered the chile relleno which had a lot of cheese, glad I asked for the pickled onions on the side because I was not a fan. They were a smidgen too sweet with an herb (guessing oregano) that clashed with the pickling and sauces on the relleno. Fried green plantains were not very crispy but still had good flavor (although some in our party thought they were too salty).

Loved the food and ambience. We ordered the Cava Nachos, Fajita and had the Lava Choco Cake for dessert. Loved their Margaritas and Sangria.

my first time here! I previously went to Plaza Santa Fe and it was terrible. I didn’t know this place was here, so I tried it for the first time today and although the prices are higher, they Offered dishes other than Mexican restaurants I’ve been to do not. Tonight we ordered the kids quesadilla with fries and the kids nachos and the steak fajita. The cheese quesadilla is well it’s a simple dish but it was good The french fries are also good. my daughter ordered the nachos and it came with melted cheddar cheese on top which she didn’t care for so we found out that they have a white cheese sauce which they said has jalapeño in it, but I’m really sensitive to spice and I didnt taste the jalapeño so we asked for that instead. this cheese is absolutely amazing. We also dipped out fries in it. I ordered my steak fajita without green peppers instead, I got mushrooms and zucchini and onions and replace the guacamole with avacado. I’m not too sure like the cut of steak that it comes with, and I’m not quite sure I like the taste of whatever they put the vegetables in but overall with the food that I received tonight along with the atmosphere and how nice employees are five stars hands-down. i’m a huge food critic and it’s really hard to find good Mexican Restaurants. Although they don’t have my favorite dish at this restaurant, they do have dishes that of the restaurants don’t Offer I will definitely be back here to try their chimichangas.

Great service and atmosphere! Food was pretty bland. Was good food, but lacked some of the seasoning and spices you might anticipate. The chimichangas and nachos were decent. DO NOT bother getting the Mexican street corn. It is flavorless and seemed to be made from canned corn — really was disappointing.

I literally came in wanting a good margarita and some nachos and yep, this place hit the spot the drinks were cold and strong I ordered the Margarita Botanica. We also noshed on Nachos which came out nice and warm and with three salsas of varying degrees of spiciness (have fun with that) and the Dip Trio, which was queso, guacamole and a bean dip. Everything was delicious and we had our chips constantly refilled, great service and a beautiful restaurant, so glad we have this close by!
