I’m very disappointed with my experience at this CAVA location in Baybrook. I’ve been to other CAVA locations before and have always had generous portions and great service, which is why this visit stood out in a very negative way.
The portions here were extremely skimpy. I was given only two meatballs, barely any rice, and noticeably less food overall compared to other CAVA locations I’ve visited. When I politely asked the employee if it was possible to get a little more meat, her response made it seem like I would be charged an additional $6 just for a very small amount more. The interaction felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
What made this especially frustrating is the inconsistency. At another CAVA location, I received an abundant portion with significantly more protein, rice, and toppings—without having to ask or feeling like I was inconveniencing anyone. Paying the same price for drastically different portions depending on location is disappointing and unfair to customers.
CAVA is not a cheap restaurant, and when you’re paying premium prices, you expect consistency, value, and good customer service. Unfortunately, this location did not meet those expectations. I left feeling unsatisfied and unlikely to return to this specific location unless there is improvement in portion consistency and customer experience.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because this experience does not reflect the quality and reputation I’ve come to expect from CAVA.

Cava is honestly one of the best places I’ve ever eaten at. The food is amazing everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Every time I come here, the quality is always the same: perfect. The portions are great, the service is friendly, and the whole experience just makes you want to come back. If you’re looking for delicious food and a place that never disappoints, cava is definitely the spot.

I will say the food is good but quantity is so sparse. They charged extra shawarma chicken and gave legit 3 spoonfuls. I ordered online for takeout and received a half full bowl that cost $14. Will not be eating here again, the cost just isn’t worth it. There are better Mediterranean options around

We had a bowl with rice and chicken. We each added a variety of other ingredients. It was pretty good and a nice change from other fast foods. You order your food at the counter and tell them what you want in your bowl. Everyone was very kind and helpful.

This is hands down the best CAVA location. I hadn’t been in quite some time, and the team was incredibly accommodating and patient in walking me through the menu, including all of the new items. They even let me try the new spicy lamb, which was amazing.
I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Camilla. Even though this is a fast-casual restaurant, her service was truly exceptional. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel welcoming and enjoyable. She absolutely made my visit.

My gripe with canva has always been paying an arm and a leg for lamb and getting two little pieces from the bottom is not cool and enough to make a grown man cry in this economy.

Look this place I’ve been here multiple times and each time I went it was like I was just giving them another chance just because the food is great, but honestly I feel like the medical center store has changed in some kind of way ! I’m not sure if it’s new management or whatever it may be I can definitely say this place has improved a lot in a lot of ways, my online orders I’m not waiting forever how I use to be; the people who are working that area are a lot more helpful than they ever were, as well as the employees in the front the attitudes just are more welcoming brighter more pleasant. If you’ve had a horrible experience before I’d say give it another chance just as I have. I think this place is turning around and I enjoy walking in there now.
