I enjoy the food at CAVA on Duluth-Suwanee Rd / Peachtree Industrial, and when my bowl is prepared properly it’s very good. However, this location appears to have a recurring issue with portion consistency.
During multiple visits, I’ve noticed that the portions for items like super greens, rice, and protein are significantly smaller than what I’ve received at other CAVA locations. The scoops used are already small, but in some cases the ingredients are given in such minimal amounts that the bowl looks barely filled. Considering the average bowl is $15 or more, customers reasonably expect a fair and consistent portion.
During my most recent visit, the employee preparing my bowl became frustrated when I asked for more super greens after receiving a very small portion. She stated that adding more would be an additional charge and that she had already given the correct amount.
As the conversation continued, her manager walked over and I explained that the bowl was barely filled and I didn’t feel comfortable paying for it as it was. The manager then instructed her to add more greens, but she appeared upset, placed the bowl down on the prep table, and walked away. The manager ultimately finished preparing the bowl himself.
I appreciate that the manager stepped in to resolve the situation, but the interaction itself felt unprofessional. After reading other reviews, it appears that several customers have had similar concerns about very small portions at this location.
The food quality is good, which is why I continue to come back, but more consistency with portions and a better approach to customer concerns would greatly improve the experience.

Cava you are wrong for this! First, there is nothing to seal the bag since it was delivered and my food is sitting outside in the ailments. Second, you up charge for delivery and you didn’t bother to give me a full bowl. Third, you make it hard to contact you with feedback! This is utterly ridiculous! I have never been so disappointed in delivered food.

Food is great every time! Isaish customer service was excellent. Speedy and accurate service and offered great suggestions on what add ons will be great like the new sour cream and onion pita. I will be back again next week

My friend brought me lunch from here and I was like, “where’s the rest”. The bowl was half empty! And I eat at Cava all the time…I know how much food they normally give. My friend said the girl who made them looked nervous and someone was watching over her shoulder. Not sure whats going on, but I’m still hungry!

I really want to like this place because the staff is always nice and the service is fast. The food itself also seems like it would be really good. The problem is that every single time I order from CAVA, my food ends up being spicy.
I have an extremely low tolerance for spicy food, so I’ve tried switching up my order multiple times thinking maybe it was just one ingredient. Unfortunately, no matter what I order, it still ends up spicy to the point where I can’t actually enjoy the meal. It’s frustrating because I can tell the food would probably be great if it wasn’t so spicy.
I’m getting close to just giving up on ordering from here because it keeps happening. Also, it would be nice if meals at least came with a drink, especially considering the price.
The people working here are always friendly and the service is quick, but the constant unexpected spiciness has made it hard for me to keep coming back

First time experience and we had the young lady Khushi. She was so patient and explained everything and suggested what to get once we explained we were brand new to Cava. She ensured we had fresh pita chips/bread. Then I ordered a drink the gentleman Kevin made or fresh and asked me how he did cause he just made it an hour before..it was phenomenal!! Will definitely be back the service was top tier and helpful!!

CAVA never disappoints! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is friendly and efficient. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly customizable — every ingredient tastes high quality and thoughtfully prepared. workers always seem so rude, unmotivated and not pleasant. Went in today & one of them seemed nice but the lady with gold septum was just terrible, the attitude when I changed my mind for a topping and didn’t even hand me a cup for my kids meal she just walked away..? Had to grab the cup myself. Funny enough a few minutes later another lady called her out and had another worker attend her instead. Don’t work in customer service if you’re going to be a complete misery thx.

First time here and it was like chipotle but for Mediterranean food and I’m hoooked! Their crazy feta + falafel + fresh lemonades will keep me coming back as a regular customer! Great prices for good sized portion too!!
