I know I’m a little late on leaving this review, but it’s well deserved. The atmosphere here is really nice, the service is great, and everyone is genuinely friendly. The vibes are always positive and welcoming, which makes it a great place to relax and enjoy yourself.
I also want to give a special thank-you to the manager for paying for my meal. I even tried to give her the money and still pay for my food, but she wouldn’t let me she was just being kind, and she truly didn’t have to do that. I really appreciate that gesture and her generosity; it says a lot about the type of person she is.
Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for great service, good people, and an overall great experience.

Worst CAVA visit ever – long wait, no service, no steak.
I stopped in on Thursday the 14th around 8:45 PM, first in line. I stood waiting while a pickup order and even someone just hanging out in the lobby were helped before me. The only person who acknowledged me was a bearded employee—clearly the only one actually working. I waited 15–30 minutes before a girl finally started my order. She never greeted me, apologized, or said anything—just stared at me until I spoke.
When we got to the protein, I asked for steak (the whole reason I came in) and was told they were out. This was after they let me stand there all that time and start building my bowl. No “sorry,” no attempt to make it right—just silence as I walked out. After this level of poor service, I won’t be back, and it’s put me off CAVA entirely.

Cava in Hampton never disappoints!! The service is always excellent. Mark was exceptional when ringing me up and is hilarious and Bree was working hard in the back with a smile oh her face. Glad I came in today.

Every time that I have gone to this location the workers are so friendly! I have to ask a ton of questions about dips and sauces. The workers are so easy to talk to and they help with explaining everything to me. (even though the descriptions are right on the glass window)

I have been coming to Cava when I was first introduced to it a few months ago and I have always been pleased with the great food. But today, I was helped with a lady on the line named Bri, and she was honestly the best with customer service since I have been there. It was our 1st time visiting Cava at Peninsula Towne Center in Hampton, Va on 11/21/25. It was after 4pm and we wanted to try it for a quick dinner since we were already in the area. While the restaurant was quiet for a Friday evening, it was the service that was off-putting. We came in said good afternoon, with no response from the young lady at the counter, she didn’t smile and gave us snarly looks. We tried to lighten the mood by joking around while placing our order. Throughout the whole interaction she barely acknowledged us. We will not be returning.
