But the proportions the last two times I’ve ordered here have been absolutely laughable. When this issue arose the first time (last month) I let it go and assumed it was a fluke.
Now that it’s happened twice, consecutively for me, I’m ready to write off all Cava locations.
The portions provided wouldn’t be enough to satiate my children, let alone an adult. And to add insult to injury, I ended up paying an additional $3.25 for an extra helping of falafel, which in the picture they show 4 falafel. Two were added in addition to the “full “ helping of chicken (we’re talking maybe a tablespoon, max).
To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. This place was my go to for a long time but I won’t be coming back unless there’s a dramatic shift.
My husband hadn’t been to Cava in quite a long time and was also stunned at the proportions. If you’re going to leave out at least half of the food, a decrease in price may be warranted.
Hope this place starts doing better for the people who want fast, healthy options.
Here’s of photo of said sad bowl upon my opening it. And tbh the photo made it look more generous than in person.
When I mentioned it was my first time, the cashier gave me a complimentary meal.
I couldn’t stop saying how delicious it was for every bite —finished clean my bowl of chicken and falafel. At the end the cashier asked how my experience was It was great! Definitely bringing the fam!
The Spicy Lamb Meatball pita and Greek Chicken pita are both fantastic. Loads of flavor. ⭐️ The portions are large for one, if you share with kids they will still be hungry.
Around the corner there is a soda machine and a few drinks like Classic Lemonade and Jasmine Tea.
Prices are high and add up quick, but the food is worth it. And while the atmosphere is “cool” here, airy and open, the tables looked bolted down and our family could not sit together easily. When it’s busy, seating is tough.
When I first walked in, Brii and Zir were assisting customers who had multiple orders. What really impressed me was the level of patience, professionalism, and teamwork they handled these orders with. Despite the number of orders, they moved with such efficiency and calm that they made the whole process look so easy. Once it was my turn to place my order, Brii greeted me with a smile and asked how I was doing before taking my order. She was pleasant throughout the entire interaction while managing the front line. When my order was handed off to the register, Zir was just as friendly and accommodating. He made sure to ask if I wanted to add chips or a drink, and even reminded me to scan my Cava app for rewards which I had almost forgotten about!
Together, Brii and Zir a dynamic duo. Despite the high volume in the restaurant, they kept things moving with ease, kindness, and professionalism. I couldn’t let their amazing service go unrecognized. As for the food… fresh and fabulous as always! The atmosphere in this location is consistently clean, bright, and upbeat. This is my favorite Cava for a reason! Highly recommend!
