Came down to visit family and decided to give this place a try. It was not a very pleasant experience. Our waitress didn’t even know what drinks they had. She then informed us it was only her second day.(they expected her to do everything by herself after one day of training!?) Your new staff should be properly trained. 1 day of training is not enough. She tried her best but you could tell she was struggling. It took 30mins to get our appetizer (spinach dip) flavor was good but it was more like a soup. It took an hour to get our food. (No they were not very busy) Apparently they ran out of baked potatoes so instead of communicating that they put broccoli on my mom’s plate instead. (Thank goodness she dosnt have an allergy right!?) Steak was very tender but no flavor. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo but when it came it had peppers and onions in it and was very greasy. Not sure what they gave me but that was not Alfredo. However I will say the shrimp was wonderful. Will I ever go back? No. Giving 2 stars because the shrimp was good.

This place deserves 5-stars not 3.6. I find nothing wrong with a place. Everything was made just right and they were very friendly. I don’t like bread and the city water is terrible.

Our two dinners were really very good: Chicken Fried Steak and Tenderloin Tips, with fried potato wedges. Everything was generous, nice fresh generous salads & adult beverages. Friendly very attentive service. Great after a long day on the road.

Nice place. Clean. Friendly staff! My husband had Salmon, rice, and redskin mashed potatoes. He enjoyed it. I had ribeye, baked potato, and grilled zucchini! It was very good also and cook perfectly medium rare. My toddler had chicken strips and macaroni and cheese. Food was hot and waitress was very nice and attentive. Also had the cheese curds which were also very tasty! $90 for all 3 meals, appetizer, and drinks. We would go back again if we were locals!

Went twice. First time was so-so second time was a disaster. We were the first group through the door when they opened for lunch, we Sat there for a half an hour before our order was taken. The six of us ordered different entrees ranging from a cheeseburger to chicken fried steak and appetizers. About that time more people came in to the restaurant and we’re ordering. After over an hour from the time we had ordered we still had not received our appetizers or food. The people that showed up a half hour after we did were getting their meals in fact some had already eaten and paid and left. Finally they brought the food after an hour and forty five mins. The appetizer showed up with the meal instead of beforehand. The bread that is served as a complimentary appetizer showed up with 3 individual sized pieces only for a group of 6. Had to ask for condiments along with the rest of the meal listed on the menu that didn’t arrive that way. The specialty drinks showed up after the meal was over. Thought it was ridiculous that the chicken fried steak dinner is just a chicken fried steak you have to order mashed potatoes etc on the side and pay extra. The bill was well over $100 which is to be expected and I don’t mind as long as I get good service and good food of which we got neither. I will not go a third time.

The food was OK. The service was great. The steak they brought my son was supposed to be a NY Strip, but he sent it back due to the poor cut of meat and ended up eating a bison burger. The wait staff were great when we sent to food back and got him something else to eat quickly. Nice place to stop for lunch, with great service.

We are from Florida and I am here to say that this is the first time I have had a legit farm to table type dinner and it was worth every penny! I even asked our server to tell the owner to please build us one in Florida. It was such and amazing steak and sides. I can’t boast anymore on how good our dinner was. I will most definitely be back to eat if we ever pass through again we will be back!

If I could rate this place lower than a 1, I would. I have been to this restaurant 4 times now as I know sometimes it’s just a “bad day” and I keep giving it a chance. You’ve gotten your last chance. Went there Sunday, 7/23/2023 — the last time I was there, they were OUT of pasta. How you can be out of pasta, I don’t know, but none of their pasta dishes were available. I had been wanting to try the loaded mac and cheese as it sounded delicious and figured — you can’t really mess up pasta right? And before you say it — yes I know this is a steakhouse, but I’ve had the prime rib and a steak during two other visits and — well lets just say they know how to mess up a steak lol. Anyway, let’s start from the beginning of this not so wonderful experience. One girl sat us and mumbled … turns out she wanted to know what we wanted to drink. OK … I wanted a glass of wine, and my guy wanted a beer. Nothing difficult. Another gal (only one that was friendly) brought those to us. I’m thinking, ok, the hostess isn’t old enough to serve. I get that. Then … it took FOREVER, but yet ANOTHER girl (definitely not an adult, appeared it might have been her first day) FINALLY came over and asked us if we wanted an appetizer. By this time, I just wanted my meal. They always bring rolls to the table when greeting (which are the only thing delicious in the place) — but yet, she didn’t, and actually asked if we wanted them? Anyway, we order — and the salads were delivered. Ceasar Salad was … warm. Croutons were stale, and so was the parmesan cheese they put on top. Then the food was brought. The drinks are empty at this point. She never brought any water either although I didn’t specifically ask for it. Never asked if we wanted another drink or something else either. OK … HUGE plate of mac and cheese with fried chicken on it was in front of me. I guess they serve you lots of food hoping you won’t complain about the quality? It looks pretty good, although the pasta looks a little dry which is odd for a mac and cheese. I start eating it — I taste … nothing. Pasta is dry, the cheese “sauce” is a liquid the consistency of water and has absolutely no flavor. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s colored pasta water. The only time there was any flavor was when I happened to get a little bit of the tiny bit of bacon on it or some green onion. Pasta is WAY over cooked and gummy — not to mention the whole dish except for the chicken on top is lukewarm at best. The chicken on top isn’t bad, it just is over powered with what must be the signature seasoning (because they put it on everything including their fries) that is — well just not very good. BUT — at least the chicken was edible and properly cooked. We never were checked on until we were finished … well at least as much of it as I was going to eat as it just wasn’t good. There was alot left. The waitress finally came over and asked if everything was good — I just didn’t have the energy at this point and wanted to go, so didn’t answer her and just asked that we get a box and the check. I was tempted not to tip at all, but I just couldn’t do that to her. She was probably just really poorly trained as she seemed really new to begin with like I said. But I also couldn’t give her my normal 20% tip when she did such a piss poor job. 10% it is. Oh atmosphere — loud with no noise buffer, and there weren’t very many people there that day either. To drown out that noise, we can hear the cooks yelling “, you’re food’s ready!” but it being ignored. They say 3rd time’s a charm — 4th time, I definitely will never be back.

For my birthday treat we went here for a steak treat and were very pleased. The Rib-eye was thick, juicy, spiced just right and tender, something I hadn’t found around Springfield’s restaurants for years. The baked potatoes, mushrooms and all were excellent. The service and the atmosphere was great without any type of loud music or noise found in other places these days. Well worth your time and trip if a good meal is what you want.
