Cattleman’s Roadhouse is a locally owned, Kentucky Proud restaurant. We are not a chain, but we do now have several locations in the surrounding area. We are just a couple of Kentucky boys serving great steaks! We pride ourselves in local buying and suppliers. When we opened our first restaurant, we scoured the state to find the best quality foods possible. Our steaks are aged 28 days, hand-cut, and are second to none in tenderness and flavor. Our burgers are Aspen Ridge All Natural Beef that is certified, humanely raised, with NEVER any antibiotics. From our locally sourced produce to our handmade desserts by Helen, we strive to serve better quality foods than other casual restaurants.

Stopped in on the way to Buffalo Trace, we told the waitress we needed to be somewhere in an hour and she did everything she could to make that happen. Total time there was 35min, food was pretty good though I feel the steak could have been seasoned a little more. Loved the salad bar, so many things to put on your salad.

So we had Walter as are server. Omg he was amazing they had him running around like crazy with his tables. But he took very good care of us. His service was amazing the potatoe skins where shockingly big but so good. He was attentive and awesome. The food was amazing. Pork chop was a little dry but it was still good. If I had any conplante I would have loved more than 5 asparagus on my plate but other than that no complaints otherwise. Will for sure be back to eat here. Btw salad bar alone is good by itself. Also someone spilled a drink on the floor Lucy aka Delulu was rate there not 2 seconds after cleaning it up. She also has a great energy you can feel. For sure a great staff you have.

They serve very good food at Cattlemans. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful considering we were there on a busy Saturday night. They have one of the best salad bars ever! We ordered the potato skins and the “egg rolls” for appetizers and the egg rolls were dynamite!

Lindsey was the waitress an did a great job staying in top of it her duties. Request for her whenever tiu go. Now the food:
Pineapple chicken was A+ the chicken was moist and sauce was top notch. I enjoyed that with the side of sweet potatoes. Can’t go wrong.
Now the beef an gravy with potatoes was not my husband favorite. The “steak” was a simply burger patty with gravy an large onions slapped on top. Food was plain. Not his favorite

Awesome Salad Bar. Hard to find one anywhere anymore so that was nice. You get rolls and salad bar with your meal. We had an awesome server. The sirloin steak and bake potato was yummy. Everything was delicious. Great place to eat.

I was greeted by Kylie upon entry. What a genuinely pleasant young lady!
Brandi was my server and she could not have been any nicer or more proficient.
Kudos to the kitchen crew as well. All of the ingredients on the salad bar are super fresh —-I really think they must chop and prepare all of the salad bar items in house – superb quality produce!!!!
Lastly, the restaurant was clean and the bathroom was clean and well stocked as well.
Just n all around great experience.

Would have been a great experience, steak color was great, staf was great, rest of food good.
However, they pressed the steaks to cook them faster. What that does is dry them out and make them flavorless. You wiuld think if you order a 40 dollar steak they would not smash the juice out of it.
Rookies, and ruined a meal on father’s day.

I also am posting kids menu, could not find on website or other reviews.

Server was excellent, but I ordered the cowboy ribeye medium. When it came out it was over done and over seasoned. I sent it back, and 5 minutes later later the steak was reserved. It was the original steak. It had been washed off and put back on the grill, and re-served. Now it was flavorless and you could taste the water in it had washed away all the juices . The spot where I had cut into it originally was still there. I told the manager I was no fool, and he said that’s not supposed to be like that. But it was originally reported to that manager and he is the one that ordered it to be done that way. He got caught. They fired a new steak and this one was unseasoned completely and near raw. Server got a 75 dollar tip, but food was not good. Never again

Currently still sitting in the restaurant, but i’m having such a good time I need to share! My fiancé and I both got the 12 oz ribeye, medium rare, and they came out the perfect cook, well seasoned, and cooked so well the knife glides right through it as you cut. The salad bar is an amazing staple, and it was all super fresh tasting! I got a loaded sweet potato and it’s delicious! It came with marshmallows, brown sugar, and caramel on it. Fiancé got a loaded baked potato that he says is amazing. We’ve always loved this place, this has been a place we’ve loved for a long time, but tonight has been the best experiences we’ve had here maybe ever. Our server, Jemma, was very attentive and never let our drinks get empty. Highly recommend coming here for dinner.

P.S. BIG shoutout to whoever is cooking tonight they’re doing amazing!

I heard about this place and was excited. Staff are wonderful and friendly.
The food is not worth the money. My husband got a full rack of ribs with rice. Let’s start with the ribs. Dry. Tough. Chewy. Chard almost black. ( see attached pics). Now the rice. Its called South western rice but had no seasoning. The portion size was not enough for even a child. We ordered and additional side of rice and added it to the plate. As you can see in the Pic that was $28 +$3 for the added rice. Completely not worth it.
I had a half rack of ribs with a loaded baked potato. The potato was great! Not normally the star of the show but compared to the ribs it was delicious. My ribs were also over charred, tough and dry.
