We had a fantastic experience at Cattle Call a few weeks ago. We went before a show at the orpheum and I am shocked at the lack of business it had at the time especially after our meal. It was a weekday but still it’s not even a block away on a cold winter evening. People going other places are missing out. The place was decorated for Christmas with just the right touches. The red lighting and some darkness with the table top lamps really give off a great dinner atmosphere. The staff was great, answered questions and was on top of checking in. We started with the house Pinot noir which was good. For an appetizer we got the Aloo chops which are a fried potato patty in a turmeric batter that gives them a little extra something served with the mango habanero sauce which just takes them to another level. They were fried perfectly crisp with a nice texture to the potatoes. Definitely recommend. We then split the pork steamed momos which were fantastic as always. We got the sweet chili sauce which my wife preferred and I preferred the mango habanero. Honestly they have such good flavor you don’t need sauce. Then we also split the tagliatelle which was perfectly aldente. The black garlic butter was a perfect base. The portion was kinda small and served on a huge plate so made it look even smaller but we both left full and happy. Definitely check this place out. They had multiple cocktails that looked great as well. Vibes were great and the food was awesome. Not a huge menu but everything we had was really good. We will definitely be back soon!

I cannot recommend this enough! My wife and I stopped by for our anniversary while visiting Omaha and were completely blown away with the experience we had! The service from our waitress and the kitchen made the whole evening enjoyable from start to finish. We had starters, main courses and desserts and not a single dish missed the mark. I cannot recommend this enough!

Cattle Call is one of the true gems and MUST TRY in the Orpheum District in downtown Omaha. Their kitchen is open late if you want that late night snack after an evening out. The momos are a must-try, but their dinner menu is fantastic as well. Often on the weekends you’ll have live music which goes so well with the amazing vibed restaurant (very elevated feel with dim lighting which offer that true intimate environment). Rocky one of the owners is a true gentleman and will always great you with a warm smile if he’s working. Highly recommend supporting this business!

I dined here with a group of friends a few weeks ago and we all really enjoyed it. The food and drinks were delicious. The waitress was sweet and attentive. The vibe here is great, especially in the evening! Definitely a must try in Omaha. I would highly recommend the croquette. The pineapple Thai chili jam that comes with it is to die for!

Looking for a date night dinner location? Delicious food? Mouth watering desserts? Or you just want to experience excellent customer service?
Well look no further. Check out Cattle Call in downtown Omaha.
The hubs and I stopped in for a little date night away from the kids.
Delicious. Everything we ordered was perfect and artistically pleasing.
Our server, Edward, was awesome. He offered Delicious recommendations, explained the dishes, and kept my water glass filled.
This place is a spot you must visit!
Additionally… the play list was on point. Tonight they were playing early 2000 music. Totally helped make the vibe even better while people watching out the window.

We have stopped by this restaurant couple of times now and their food is always great. We tried the momo, allo chop, tagliatelle, and pork belly and every dish was full of flavor and so so good.
Its the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy good food and have a great time. The staff were super friendly. I had a little itchy throat and they brought me some warm water even without asking. Such a kind and thoughtful gesture.
Definitely going to be our go-to spot for fun and delicious food .

Excellent food that is perfectly prepared. Everything on this menu is great. We are excited to go back as they change their menu seasonally. Very cozy and dark inside. The ambiance is especially relaxing. This place is great for date night or really any occasion.

Really liked this place! Of course Kathmandu momos are my favorite- but their home menu was also good. Lychee cocktail was fantastic. The broccolini salad was so good I plan on making it at home. Best salad I’ve had all year. Lamb shank and duck confit were beautifully cooked and meat was falling off the bone. The salmon tartare was the only thing I wasn’t super excited about, but it was still worth getting once.

Not sure I would ever get anything besides small plates or appetizers to go
For $30 the duck breast felt lacking on presentation and the side dish portions of cauliflower. The taste profile mix of the mustard, cauliflower, and cranberry didn’t mesh well, but glad to get my first taste of duck
The bar had some great ambiance with the lighting
Love the steam dumplings with sweet chili
