Total gem of a find for steaks.
We got the rib eye with their sides of
baked potato and vegetables. The steak had a nice smoke and char to it, and it was juicy right to the edges.
Their house bread tasted like a Hawaiian roll, so light and slightly sweet and warm as it comes fresh out of the oven.
Dinner salad was mediocre at best, and the shrimp scampi wasn’t good. Some of the pasta was cut up small while some of it was still long. It also had a sweet taste, which was strange. The shrimp were prepared well though.
Off to sides, the vegetables had good flavor but very mushy, so I didn’t eat most of them. I loved the baked potato, it was done right, and I added some butter to it too.
The molten lava cake was very dense, and not cake like at all, really couldn’t get past the first, two to three bites. We also added some ice cream too, which was basic at best.
If you decide to come here, order the steak, this is what they do really well, and are known for.
Service was great, and the place had a feel of a Native American log cabin.

The location of the restaurant is convenient and the decor is 5/5. The server was very kind, patient, and efficient. Overall a good establishment, I just felt it was a little overpriced.
The calamari for $14 was not worth it. It did not taste fresh and they were very tiny pieces. Instant regret.
The specialty ribeye steak was not too juicy, not too fresh but it was decent. My big thing, again is the price. The online pictures show that its 58, it was 67 dollars in the restaurant. In my opinion way over priced. I’ve had much better for much less. My steak had too many pieces of fat, which I could not eat. I didnt get the best piece, so it didn’t feel like a specialty
The highlight was the Huckleberry margarita I saw chunks of it in the drink and that was a treat, not too sweet, nice and cold. Overall probably wouldn’t come back because of the price but I really like the decorations and attention to detail in the place.

Honestly, the food was excellent. The 16oz ribeye was plenty to share between two people, and it was cooked perfectly. The quality of the local meat is hard to beat. That said, fine dining is about more than just the food, it’s also the atmosphere and service that make it a complete experience. Since there aren’t many restaurant options in the area, offering a few more affordable dishes could make it more welcoming for tourists.

Located on the east side of Glacier National Park, the Cattle Baron Supper Club is a hidden gem in an area with limited dining options. The ambience is truly amazing, offering a cozy, rustic feel that perfectly complements the stunning surroundings.
The staff were incredibly courteous and attentive, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. As for the food, I had the shrimp pasta and salmon—both dishes were cooked to perfection and full of flavor.
If you’re visiting Glacier National Park, this is a must-try spot for a memorable meal!

Stopped in to have dinner before heading to our hotel. You will not walk away hungry! The homemade ranch dressing on the mixed green was fantastic. Steaks were grilled to perfection. The potatoes side was absolutely delicious. Thank you Cattle Baron Supper Club for letting us be dining members for the night!

Great dinner here after my wife’s friend recommended it. Great salad with homemade croutons. We had a NY Strip and a Filet with the shrimp scampi! The steaks were large and cooked perfectly. The cooked and seasoned red potatoes were good and unique. The atmosphere was very nice and there was live entertainment. We highly recommend.

This was an unexpected fantastic meal. We were listening to the guide along app while traveling through Glacier NP. All of the food was fresh and delicious. You get a free loaf of bread and it was so tasty. The salad was fresh and yummy with delicious dressing! We got steak and i normally don’t like sauce on my steak but their sauce was just enough and flavorful that went well the with charbroiled steak. Potato was my favorite! So many flavors but not overwhelming and the perfect size it was delicious and haven’t had anything like it before. Service was great as well and prices were great for what we got. Would recommend if traveling through East side of glacier, right near entrance to many glacier.

Unfortunately this establishment is a sorry excuse for a steak supper club. We had to wait more than an hour for our entrees to arrive. Once they did arrive two of the three steaks had to be returned to the kitchen as they weren’t cooked correctly. They still weren’t cooked correctly the second time. And, the baked potatoes were close to raw. The manager agreed that they weren’t cooked correctly and only offered a scoop of ice cream to “make it right”. This is a photo of my steak which was supposed to be medium rare, but was very rare. I couldn’t eat it.

If only it had been outstanding- it easily could! The bread is amazing- paying $50 for a 9 ounce filet- you expect it to be hot- or at least warm. The small 1/2 potato was very hot- but the grilled veggies and steak were cold!! I ordered it medium- she offered to put it back on the grill- that would make it well done which I didn’t order. The server asked what did I expect- I said a hot steak cooked medium- remake it- 20 minutes later a whole new plate came (I only wanted a steak- I ate the potato as it was hot the first time) the steak was rare/gelatinous- I just gave up and ate the edges. They did not charge us for the molten cake we ordered- but I didn’t eat that- daughter said it was nice and rich. When our salads arrived she told my daughter they were out of thousand island (we were first 5 people there) so my daughter asked for another. The server forgot to bring it. We kept trying to get her attention but she wasn’t stopping. Finally, explained she never brought her dressing- I had finished my salad ten minutes prior and the long wait for steak explains why it was so cold. My daughter’s steak was cold as well- but she didn’t want to complain- at $50 – it should not be cold. The shrimp was hot and good!
