My wife and I have eaten here a couple of times and it’s always been good. Large building with plenty of seating and the food has always been good. I can say the whole fried catfish and the fried shrimp is good. Give the Catfish Wagon a try.

The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. The service, however, was slow. One took our drink orders, and it took a while for them to come out, even though she passed our table several times, eyeballing us each time. Eventually, someone else brought us our drinks. When the food came out, which also took a while, one plate was wrong, but I’ll give them props in that it didn’t take long to correct that mistake.

I moved away from MS in the 80s. One of the first things I wanted to do when I moved back last year was get some real home-cooked catfish. This is the first and only restaurant I went to for catfish. They are amazing, and I go at least once or twice a month. I do not like coleslaw (sorry), HOWEVER, theirs is amazing. The prices are great. I always have extra to take home, and it’s not soggy when you reheat it. The ladies and guys that work there remind me of what manners should be and treat everyone who walks in the door like family. I don’t think I can give enough stars to truly describe how amazing the food and atmosphere truly are. You have a customer in me for as long as I’m back living here.

Worked here about 10 years ago. It was great then and it’s great now! Had a great time here the other night with several of my family members. I think there ended up being about 15 of us. The waitress seemed a little overwhelmed but she did a great job. Can’t wait to go back!

The service was great and the food was even better. Very clean restaurant. The people are kind and if an item that was ordered was forgotten all you have to do is tell them and it’s no problem for them to go get it. As it is a very popular place for that area you may have to wait to be seated but they have a great amount of seating for people to sit at to wait to be seated at their table. The prices of the food are well within means. It was my first time going to this restaurant Saturday September 12,2020, and I will most definitely be going back when I’m in the area for a weekend again.

The owner of the catfish wagon, Miss candace Shows has been the epitome of a bad boss and owner. She drinks on the job and acts like she is a teenager. I was fired yesterday due to her own negligence. The restaurant has a stray cat problem. With that being said, she feeds them. They are all females who have breed and had litters. She has 12 strays. The reasoning behind me being fired was because I had brought 2 live traps in my car so that way I could TNR. She went into it while drunk and took them out, then proceeded to put her hands on me and scream in my face because she thinks I was planning on getting rid of the cats. Was not. She is not a good person to work for, please don’t start your kids here as a first job they will only learn stress. As for the food….yalls hamburgers you love so much are reheated daily with a wet paper towel on a plate in a microwave. The boiled shrimp is also reused and reboiled daily. Even sometimes weekly. I do not recommend eating here. Do not recommend working here. She drinks on the job and stresses people out. She’s not a boss. She’s a child in an adults body. Good afternoon also Everything you get here is frozen, besides the hushpuppie and onion rings. And they heat your potatoes up in the microwave.

I gave a low rating because I drove 25 minutes to get catfish, and the were closed. That was at 8:01PM. “We closed early because we were slow. The kitchen is closed.” Perhaps consider that your business is slow because your hours of operation are inconsistent. It’s 8:13 now, and 4 people have driven up since I’ve been sitting here. The fish is good, but I can get the same thing to my north, south, east, or west. It just so happened that I was 6 mins closer to them tonight. I waited a long time to get my food last time, and I remember thinking, “Dang, I need to order in advance next time!” This time I should have called! There want me a next time, unfortunately.

Nice environment and neat little restaurant BUT we placed our orders and; waited 10 minutes on drinks, 30 minutes on one appetizer and over an hour on entree’s. There were just 4 of us and no complex orders. There were three other tables in the restaurant before us, that also were either waiting on food still after we had left or got half of their food as we got ours.
Twice we had to call another waitress over, we only saw our waitress two times in a 1.5 hour time span.
Mediocre service and mediocre food. Steak tasted like it’s marinated in strictly A1 sauce and a friend commented about their vegetables tasting “dirty”. A waste of a combined $84 and we won’t be back. ♀️
