Great Value Gluten Free Catfish
I’ve gone to this place many times
but I had not gone back since I’ve cut back on gluten until a few days ago. The fried catfish is confirmed to be gluten free.
In the menu picture attached, any menu item in green font is gluten free. With fried catfish being the only fried item labeled as gluten free, I do wonder if the catfish is fried in their own fryers away from anything with gluten in it.
I got the 3 piece fillet meal and they gave me 4 fillets since they were small. The portions overall are very generous with unlimited fixins such as hush puppies, coleslaw, pickles, and green tomato relish. The catfish is excellent and the fries tasted homemade.
This is a great deal for the food you get. The food also comes out super fast, ideal for a quick lunch.

Great experience from start to finish! As a first time visitor I wasn’t sure what to expect but I loved the open concept of the restaurant. We were greeted as soon as we walked and seated quickly. Our waitress came by and took our drink order and then returned with the “fixin’s” which included piping hot hush puppies, pickled green tomatoes, slaw, and pickle spears. I ordered boneless catfish with baked potato and my son ordered chicken strips, fries and macaroni and cheese. He said the fries were so good! Definitely hand made in house. As soon as a table would leave a group of young men would come out and bus and clean the tables. Several employees came by to check on us and to bring us fresh drinks and hush puppies. An exceptional experience and we will definitely return again and again!

Jeff, Annette, and the staff are doing an amazing job! We walked in on a Saturday at 2 with no line but an almost full restaurant. The catfish, shrimp, tomato relish, and hushpuppies are fantastic. Great atmosphere and you won’t find better, friendlier service anywhere!

The staff was amazing! Going above and beyond to make sure guests had what they need and that drinks and fixins never ran low. So excited that their fried catfish is gluten free! Everything was good. The building is a bit of modern architecture and the place was very clean. A great place to stop for a good meal while traveling on I-40. Well stop in again on our next road trip.

I love this place. Their hush puppies are the best I’ve had from a restaurant.

Great food and service. The hush puppies are some of the best I’ve ever had especially paired with the green tomato relish. Conveniently located not far from the interstate with a large parking lot. Very nice building

The catfish was not top quality and small pieces, shrimp was very rubbery, fried okra was greasy and basic coleslaw not like homemade. The best was the hush puppies. Our server Dee was very pleasant and as was the rest of the staff. Everything taste like it was cooked in old oil. The decorations were a little off. Why the quilts hanging all over and school or prison looking cinder blocks, very poor decorations and the soffit is falling apart outside.

The experience is underwhelming. The fries were soft and lacked flavor. The $40 steak offered little value, and the sides seemed like pre-made food. The bread was reminiscent of airplane bread, and the waiting time was quite long. However, the service was pleasant, which was the one redeeming quality of this restaurant.
