This place was good. Arrived just after they opened and really enjoyed the spacious dining room. The decor was pleasing and the decorative lighting made it feel relaxing. The menu had a decent array of options that fit almost any diet (and budget). I especially took notice of the all day breakfast option. I ordered the catfish (since it’s in the title) and my wife got the popcorn shrimp. Both dishes were very good and the catfish was cooked perfectly! Overall, great experience. I gave four stars because the water tasted disgusting, which caused the tea to taste “dirty” as well. Our server also kept pushing us to try the free beans that were available near the salad bar … Weird.

Pleasantly surprised, best meal we’ve had out since we been in Wichita falls area. Great service, Brittany our server was pleasant ,prompt , and on point.
We had the southern fried catfish, fried shrimp and according to my son an awesome patty melt.
Sweet tea, water , Dr. Pepper, and a draft beer for drinks. All was perfect except the soda , it was flat . But everything else was great, definitely going back.

First impressions from the outside were honestly underwhelming. We read reviews and noticed all the negative reviews that I could find were over a year old. However, you walk into the doors to a large dining room decorated with antiques and other old items. It feels so homey, almost like you’re sitting on a back porch with friends and family. The waitress greeted us with a warm smile and was very helpful with the menu. We enjoyed some pinto beans while we waited for our catfish meals. The beans were great, could have maybe used a bit more flavor but warmed our bellies just fine. The lunch catfish was fantastic, no “old grease” taste at all. We got 4 pieces of fish on a bed of thin French fries (my personal favorite) with 2 hush puppies and a generous helping of tartar sauce. The bathrooms are clean. There is not a changing table BUT there is a large clean counter top which is perfect for taking care of your babies! Bathroom smells great and everything was stocked up.

Had an awesome time. The food was well priced for the amount and the service was good. Also free beans with your meal! I couldn’t finish everything there was so much. The food was very tasty.
