CRISPY AND SCALLOPS was SO GOOD!
So this spot got my attention while driving on the hwy, I had to stop regardless because of the grocery store next to it … it was also lunch time so family and I decided to go for some fish and chips. I never had deep fried scallops before sooo.. the Fundy Feast 3 was the perfect option 1 pc Haddock + scallops + chips with tartar sauce, spicy mayo, potato salad and coleslaw for $33.99.(little bit pricey) Those scallops tasted so good with the spicy mayo!

We stopped for gas across road, that’s when I noticed this place. We had the Fundy Feast 1, which consists 1 piece oh Haddock, whole clams, fries, coleslaw and potato salad. The piece of fish was huge and very good, the clams were good but they were really small, like baby clams. The fries were good but the coleslaw and potato salad I’m pretty sure were store bought. We also bought some frozen lobster, which I will update when we eat it.

This place was not worth it. It has an extremely long wait time after you order your food. So bad that they give you a pager to call you when your order is ready. We waited more than 20 minutes for mediocre fish and chips until we were paged. The food is plentiful, but just average, and the staff was ok but didn’t exactly look like they were rushed off their feet. I wish I had just gone inside the main market and ordered their chili, which is always awesome, and way healthier. I felt terrible after eating the fish and chips. I suggest you skip this place and order a seafood chowder or chili in the market.

What a great spot to stop in NB, while traveling from Halifax. We ordered the halibut and chips and it was amazing.. but the best part of the experience was meeting Rebecca on cash who was so friendly, fun and greatted is with the Catch of the Bay welcome. ( Watch the video). Thanks for a great experience of lunch plus the view from the lighthouse. Cheers, Spicy Jan, Tasty Road Trips

The best fish and chips I have ever tasted. I was absolutely thrilled they are gluten free. We enjoyed having lunch going into Nova Scotia and planned our trip, leaving Nova Scotia a week later around lunchtime at Catch of the Bay. Portions are large, so maybe skip breakfast .

Long wait, but very friendly.
The lady asked us before if we wanted to wait that long (close to an hour) so it wasn’t a surprise.
The food was very good! Had a fish and chip jumbo fish!!! Not too pricey for the big plate we had. Nice place. Would highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the live music. The service was excellent.

It was beautiful out and I was able to catch an empty picnic table which I would like to suggest, not to put tarter sauce and mayo on the tables on hot days warm mayo is disgusting. Other than that the food was freshly fried, and I love the portions.

I got the 2 pc fish and chips, local to the bay of fundy which was sooo good and made this my favorite road trip destination so far.

I took half of it home with me to ( lower sackville NS)

The potato salad is delicious , as is the cole slaw but the slaw is a bit pricey for how small of a serving you get that could use a half or full size up.. as it’s cheap to make and not that complicated lol but delicious none the less.

The pop machine didn’t work. I ended up having to go back for another coin, heads up it takes 2 coins not 1.

Overall experience, 10 stars but they only allow me to post 5. I’m not jaded by a few minor issues, the overall atmosphere was amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better day to sit with my best friend and enjoy the quality time and amazing food. Thank yium

Great fish and chips spot with lots of charm.

I appreciate the level of planning that went into the place. The kitchen itself is located in a boat! There is a set of darling fish shaped chairs, a beach pit area for kids to play and lots of seating.

I was pleasantly surprised that they also had those electric “you’re order is ready” notification devices (like the ones you see in Olive Garden).

Yes, there is a bit of a wait, but it’s worth it! The fish is delicious (not greasy) and the portions large (even the fish pieces are big, which is rare. Unless you are REALLY hungry or planning on splitting with someone else, the one piece is plenty!).

Orders come with a small cup of coleslaw and a wedge of lemon. I’m curious why they don’t make their own tartar sauce.

I observed them delivering fresh haddock (not frozen) to the kitchen.

Amazing fish and scallops and chips — just off the highway so great for a quick stop. The fish was fresh and affordable priced $30 for our meal for 2. Seating is outside but you sit beside a lighthouse that you also have the option of climbing for a view. Would return every time I am passing by… still thinking about the scallops. You can also get ice cream in the market beside (but we were too full for that).
