Dear Catch 22, my waitress, (her name is Landon), needs a raise! She helped us pick out what to drink and what to eat and her recommendations were on point! Oh my Goddess! And the Chef…you need to make sure you keep him! We had Managers choice cocktail, chef’s choice burger AND side, the Reuben and herb fries, pretzel and corn ribs. Can I tell you the burger was hands down the best I have ever tasted! It was my significant other that had the burger. The chef’s side was Buffalo Cheese Curds and my word they were delicious! So, ask for Landon and let her help you order…you won’t be disappointed!

I really enjoyed lunch today. We ordered the fish n chips and the lobster roll with Caesar salad. The fish was absolutely perfect. I would consider the lobster roll good for this area. The establishment has an awesome selection of beer and liquor. I look forward to another visit.

Really wanted to like this place and will probably give them another chance. Based on others glowing reviews I am thinking we went on an off day. (Which is understandable but sucks to foot a $70 bill on an off day)
I got the chicken sandwich on the biscuit and both were severely overcooked. I managed to eat most of the chicken but the biscuit was so hard it was honestly inedible. (Funny enough I saw several people in an online group say the same thing about that exact meal the same day.) my husband said his pork belly sandwich was okay, but seemed like a rib. The sides from both of our meals were really good. He got the potato salad and I tried the Mac and cheese. We had already been there close to an hour and at that point they were 30 minutes to closing or I would’ve asked for a redo.
The service was decent. Everyone was nice, but a little slow on refills and stuff of that nature. And they never did ask if everything was okay which was surprising when we had a lot left on our plates.

I had been so excited to visit this place since I found out blue rooster sold to them. Boy oh boy it was 100% worth the wait! The staff was super sweet and friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and unique, the food was top notch. I will 100% be back, I did not experience one bad thing during my visit. Oh and it is veteran owned!

The best French Dip I have ever gotten! Must be the garlic bread they use instead of white roll. Service was great too. I gave only 4 stars because, although they had just opened and were virtually empty, the hostess tried to seat us in the farthest back table; probably because of my 20 mo. old grandson. We asked to be seated at the front. Did not appreciate being asked to sit “in the back of the bus.”

My family and I love Catch 22. The food is delicious. At this point I have had a ton of different dishes on their menu and I have enjoyed all of them! Also love the atmosphere. Always good music, not too loud, so you can still talk. Plus their selection of beers is fantastic.

My Fiancé had the *Chef’s Choice Burger* (which he gets all the time at the Athens location ;)) we *think* this one is a brisket/swis concoction! 100/100!

Was ecstatic when I found out one of my favorite places was coming to Monroe! The food is amazing, staff is attentive and very friendly. Service was spot on even on the first week of opening. If you haven’t had catch 22- you’re missing out!

First time visiting… Food was outstanding. Great drink selection. My only thing, and I did not ding the rating because of this… Your staff has to dress better. One waitress literally had lounge shorts that were not meant to leave the house in; and staff seemed to want to pause and have side conversations versus being attentive to customer needs. If this is the norm, place won’t last long.

Absolutely love this pub. We visit the Athens location often, and the Monroe location is just as great. The menu has something for everyone and the prices are fair. I always get the house salad with the wasabi mustard dressing and it’s amazing every time. Downtown Monroe us such a cute town and Catch 22 is a great addition!!
