Been here several times and, as usual, it didn’t disappoint. The food is still awesome, and the service is great as well.
The Penne alla Vodka is still my favourite, and the Platinum Seafood Platter is also one of my go-to dishes—it has everything you want.
There are plenty of tables, but I would recommend making a booking in advance, especially on weekends.
Parking in Victoria Park can be tricky on weekends, but on weekdays it shouldn’t be a problem.

I had a totally unexpected and really enjoyable experience at Catalano’s in Victoria Park! I ordered the seafood spaghetti and it came in a perfect portion size and was cooked to absolute perfection — al dente with rich flavour, just the way it should be. Pasta lovers, this one’s worth trying!
The pizza was decent — fresh and satisfying, with good flavour and a solid crust. While it might not be their standout dish, it still hit the spot and paired well with everything else we had. Chili flake was available
One of the highlights for me was the coffee — it was absolutely amazing. If you’re stopping in for a meal, make sure you order a brew to finish off or even enjoy it on its own. Many others rave about the friendly service, generous portions, and cosy Italian atmosphere too, making it great for casual lunches or relaxed dinners.
Overall, the food, service, and vibe at Catalano’s made for a genuinely lovely meal — definitely worth a visit next time you’re in Perth!

Came here because a friend recommended it, and I also saw it trending on TikTok — and wow, I’m so glad I did! The service was excellent from the moment we walked in, and the food came out surprisingly fast.
The oysters literally made me go crazy — so fresh it felt like they came straight from the ocean. I could eat them over and over again. Every dish had that true Italian touch, especially the rib-eye… beautifully cooked, amazing flavour, and the presentation was on point.
We loved everything so much that we ran out of parking time and ended up taking our chocolate mousse to the car — still delicious, still worth it! And closing the meal with a cup of latte? Damn, perfection.
Special thank you to Sam, who took fantastic care of our order. She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

I felt extremely uncomfortable dining at this restaurant due to what appeared to be discriminatory treatment towards Asian customers.
After entering the restaurant, we waited for more than 10 minutes. Even though staff clearly saw us, no one came over to take our order. Instead, they chose to serve other customers and clear tables, without once asking if we were ready to order.
I also noticed that with other (non-Asian) customers, staff were smiling, friendly, and proactively asking if they would like to order. The contrast in service was very obvious.
We ordered the $99 seafood platter and waited around 15 minutes. The oysters were quite small and dry, and the fried fish had a strong greasy smell.
I have lived in Perth for four years, and this is the first time I have had such a disappointing and uncomfortable experience. If you are Asian, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Food was sensational. The Chicken Scallopini with Boscaiola Sauce made me do my happy food dance bite after bite. My other half had the Parmy which was cooked sensationally. We shared Oysters Kilpatrick which were also cooked to perfection.
The service was fast and friendly and the menu is cost friendly.
Will definitely be back!

I had my 60th Birthday lunch at Catalanos Vic Park and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was awesome and fast, the staff were so nice, the food was absolutely delicious. Can highly recommend to anyone who loves tasty food with great service.

Sadly not the old good quality seafood platter. Prawns, scallops and squid were overcooked. Mussel still had the beards and overall no flavour.
Use to love the platter here but definately not the taste or quality it use to be so assuming its different owners these days

Delicious food and fantastic service.
3 people -1 lasagna (portion of chips), 1 spaghetti carbonara and 1 gluten free pasta carbonara. All 3 dishes were delicious and very plentiful – took some the carbonara home for later. The expansive menu made it very difficult to choose. If you are gluten free this is the restaurant to go to.
