My husband and I went here for a date night, and we were really impressed with the food and service. Our server noted that my husband had a slight cough, so she had the bartender make him a hot toddy (such a thoughtful gesture). The food was exceptional, but that’s what we expected from Chef Campbell. We went back for their Valentine’s dinner and had a lovely dining experience. This is a great place to go for any occasion, and there is a great variety of food and drinks to try.

Great experience all around. We loved the ambiance, it somehow feels both laid back as well as fine dining at the same time. The wait staff was very attentive and we were never waiting on anything.
The menu seems well thought out, with enough mix to satisfy everyone but not too much that it seems like they are just throwing food on a board. I had the fish and chips, which I can honestly say was the best I have ever had. Light batter that didn’t feel heavy at all. I’m excited to try the other menu items as well. The prices all seemed incredibly fair for what you were getting.
Overall a great experience, and we can’t wait to come back.

From the theme to the food, it was all great! We got the salmon, the scallops, had a charcuterie board and ended the night with the tres leches souffle. All our food was incredible and came out in a timely fashion. It is nice and dark inside very elegant and a perfect spot for date night. We also had a few cocktails and my favorite was the “something blue”. Staff was very attentive and treated us very well. Will definitely be back soon!

It was our first time eating here and it did not disappoint! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to us. Food was delicious! Especially the seafood macaroni and marinated brisket. The ice cream is a MUST! They make it homeade in house fresh to serve we definitely recommend the strawberry if you go! Environment was great with the music and decorations and for birthdays they go all out. There was a birthday next to us and they played 50 cent haha

This place seems…. confused as to what it’s trying to be. Scottish themed interior (sort of) yet it blasts Spanish music which clashes with the interior environment. The service needs work. Everyone seemed to be in a rush and in no control of the situation and our server was slow to take our order. The food was NOT worth the prices they expect. The Bruschetta was a single piece that was challenging to share among 2 people. The Baked Seafood Macaroni is barely enough for 1 person and half it’s mass is just mussel shells. The Double Pork Chops is actually 3 chops yet the chops themselves lack flavor and they seem to bank on the cream spinach topping to make up for it.

Our first time dining here and let me say WOWWWW!! We had a birthday party of 9 adults and every single dish was EXCEPTIONAL! The ceviche, calamari, nachos, CastleHill burger, steak pie and salmon and all the desserts and every cocktail were over the top delicious!! It was like dining in Europe or large metro, but better as this place isn’t pretentious or stuffy and has a nice casual classy ambience. But this wouldn’t be possible to experience without all the excellent servers and chefs!! Every single one was personable and passionate about their craft and I applaud them for going above and beyond. A must go to for someone’s birthday, they made it super special and a great surprise!! Everyone in our party was excited about returning there again as there are a variety of specials throughout the week like charcuterie for two night, tapas night, mixology lessons and other intriguing agendas!! We can’t wait to go back! Thank you CastleHill Bistro!!

My husband and I have been wanting to try CastleHill Bistro for a while because it’s Chef Graham Campbell’s restaurant. We finally made it out this evening and had the chance to sit at the Chef’s Table. It was an amazing experience, great conversation with chef Graham and a one of a kind experience getting to watch him work. We started off with the Kilt and the CastleHill cocktails and enjoyed the Bruschetta appetizer. When it was time to choose an entree we chose the Seafood Mac & Cheese (recommended by Chef Graham) and the Fish & Chips. We ended the meal with a delicious Soufflé. Everything we had tasted amazing and it was such a unique experience to watch our food being prepared. The food was delicious, great quality, and we were impressed that the prices were so reasonable. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

I had such a pleasant time at castlehill bistro. They had amazing service, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere felt so inviting. Their food was very delicious and filling. i had the Glazed salmon puttanesca and it was very good and ended the night with the pumpkin spice whipped cheese cake which was just as good. They also had amazing cocktails which was a plus, definitely recommend stopping by and visiting.

It took me a while to write this review since I truly hope that my dining experience with you guys is an isolated incident. I reserved a pre-Valentine dinner on a Friday night to treat my wife to a sumptuous meal prepared by Chef Graham. We arrived 30 minutes early on that chilly night and we got seated immediately. It took 20 minutes before someone approached us for our orders of drinks, appetizers, and entree. Our drinks didn’t arrive until after a good 30 minutes from when the server took our order. We waited for the calamari for a good one hour only to be told that they don’t have any more squid for the appetizer. Frustrated, I ordered the burrata instead which is decent in my point of view. The entree of steak and seafood was served a good an hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours from the time we were seated (that’s how patient I was, but my wife was totally disappointed.) The steak was cooked to perfection as I wanted it; the seafood is so-so probably because I was looking for a little bit of a Scottish influence on it because of the chef’s roots, but I didn’t see any. And by the way, the drinks were served really simply without any garnish or art that night (reason was that they ran out of the dried orange wheel, pineapple, fresh orange, etc. I make a better looking mai tai at home. They also don’t have a choice of bourbon for an old fashioned.) The dessert of chocolate that I picked was too sweet to my liking. I’m giving it 3 stars since Chef Graham approached us personally at the end of our dinner and apologized for the really delayed service that we experienced that night. If we’ll ever want to give the establishment a chance to redeem themselves in the future, my suggestion would be is to serve their drinks within 10 to 15 minutes from the time they were ordered. Also, from the time we were seated, the server should have approached us immediately. I still gave them a tip even though I didn’t get the prompt service that we deserve (tip stands for “to insure promptness.”)
