Amazing service + delicious food
I had the best experience here, largely thanks to Drea. She was incredibly kind, patient, and an absolute boss — handling so many things at once while still making us feel taken care of. From the moment we arrived, she took our order and was so kind and friendly.
Speaking of sauces… WOW. They have around 10 different sauces, and they were immaculate. Drea even cleaned the sauce area while we were there, which says everything about the care and pride she brings to her work.
The fish tacos were phenomenal, and I got the carne asada fries without the beef, which were still insanely good. Yes, it’s fast food — but it’s good fast food, done right.
If you’re debating where to go… sorry, Rubio’s — Castañeda wins. For the food and freshness and the service, this place is absolutely worth it.

Im new to the area and went in for lunch with the hubby while we got our car washed next door. I ordered the 2 shredded beef burrito plate. I understand inflation but come on! It was like I ordered a fajita burrito! So much bell peppers and onion sprinkled with a little meat( no lie when I say sprinkled). So disappointing. After combining both burritos I ended up with a taquito. #NEVERAGAIN

On February 18, 2025 I was served the worst Cabeza Burrito ever!! It has Pieces of Lengua And the meat was overcooked and the tortilla was burnt!!!? I wasted my money. I felt like throwing up after taking a few bites. Everything was tail, even the onion and cilantro Buyer beware. For the first time eating here I got what I wanted. I frequent the Castaneda restaurants to have the Cabeza burrito because I like Cabeza every other time other than today at 12:30 these burritos are usually flooded with oil. The person that is cooking today should teach all the cooks how to make this burrito because there was no oil that’s gonna stay on top of my stomach for hours and hours and hours all day. Thank you you did a wonderful job.

Bought a San Felipe burrito and 8 sopes. When I received my food bags I asked for additional salsa because our family loves salsa and the cashier said it’s in the bag already, thought nothing of it and drove home. Got home they gave us 3 salsas. 3 SALSAS, the 1oz
Salsa I’ve never received this amount of salsa for $60 of food, this wasn’t enough for all the food. They don’t deserve the tip and I’ll never be back here. This happened on Sunday 4th 2026 at 6pm ish.
Lastly they made mistakes with the sope order even though they repeated the order at the time of payment, we asked for 4 al pastor 3 carne asada and 1 shedded well they gave us 6 carne asada 1 al pastor and 1 shredded
They sope was soggy, I recommend the casteñedas in Palm canyon.

I recently discovered this restaurant chain. I have to say, every time I come here, it’s always for the same thing; Asada Quesadilla. I’m a quesadilla freak, and their carne asada quesadilla is a 9/10 for me. Their menu is very large, but Im only here for the quesadilla. Occasionally I also order a large horchata. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

The cashier after looking through the bag several times told me I was wrong and she could changed my order but had to wait 20 minutes….I asked for my money back and she said even better and told next client I was lying about my order… This restaurant is a complete joke and it should be closed!!!!!!
